- In this video we Replace the radio in a Lexus SC430. The customer wanted to keep the top screen fully functional, so we use the Beat Sonic smart harness. This let us keep some of the steering wheel controls, and the factory GPS. We add a backup camera, replaced the factory subwoofer, and sirius xm.

I wish I could ship my SC430 to have you do it to mine. I would have to be sedated to watch the “speed up” of taking it apart! Really nice installation and you seem to know what the customer needs. I have an installer here, but I feel they oversell. I want it all and willing to pay for it, but customer interaction is not the best. I will watch your videos….and I still can always ship it to you! Why didn't you go through the rear seat bulk head harness at centre of the back seat and run up through the middle to stereo?

This is a great video, lots of inspiration on what to do next with my SC430. I have one question, it looks like you installed a Kicker 40CWR84 which is 4 ohms. The factory sub was 16 ohm 100 watt max. I know you guys know what you are doing, I am just curious with the factory amp still installed how this affects the amp?
good question. I was told by an installer that the sound is not the best, but that it still works. It beats having to pay nearly $700 for an original. I see you wrote your question over a year ago.

I'm interested to know if you kept the CD players off the sc430, if so I'm hoping you could help work out how to fix an error code 4 situation on my newly acquired SC. I think the player is full of discs and NO button works for the CD at all, just comes up with error 4

+CarPhonix CarAudio if you are a Metra dealer, they carry it now. They call it Expandable sleeping, they offer 5 colors. We use the 1/2 inch the most. You can also get it on Amazon pretty reasonably. AAMP also sells black.

I think the Mark Levinson speakers are EVENTUALLY supposed to be like that, considering how many I see like that. lol. There's someone out there who re-surrounds them, I hear.

Hi Guys wondering if the customer provided you guys those instructions ? Also if a customer asked to install a 4200 nex bypass do you guys do those as well ? ninjamaster2009 the interface comes with the instructions, we stock them. We also stock the microbypass to unlock the menus. Switch and relays suck.

Question guys... I have a 2013 Acura tl with upgraded sound system. Can they radio be replaced and also keep the monitor intact plus steering wheel controls, too.
E Puebla replacing the radio and keeping the steering wheel controls is doable. The navigation not so much. Right now Metra make a kit, but it does not keep the navigation. Www.metraonline.com

I had a quick question. I was working on 2010 Cadillac Escalade with a Bose system and added an Install Bay IBR69 Line Out Converter to the back speakers for my RCA output. Installed a Hifonics amplifier with 2 Rockford Fosgate subwoofers. The customer is saying that everytime they step on the gas pedal the subwoofers distort. Like they come on with the acceleration of the vehicle. What could be causing this? Any idea?
Max Lezama you want to connect the line output to the factory subwoofer in the armrest. There are 2 sets of blue/ green twisted wire on the passenger in side. The darks are positive.

They used the subwoofer kicker 43cwr84? or the Kicker 43cwr104?
40cwr84 but it looks like it is discontinued. The 43cwr84 looks like the new replacement.
Top shelf installation fellas, TOP SHELF!!! As a customer, trying not to offend, is the quality of installation financially negotiatable? ie.. hiding wires, sound deadening, soldering instead of crimping ect...

I came to do a DIY project, what I find is have to take apart my whole car….great….
That suck the Volume controls the ML system. But I guess your f'ed if you dont. Anyone know if you can use the ASWC-TOY-LEX to control to the Kenwood deck.
