Killing it with one shotgun blast, it jumps up and falls on it’s back, and then the sound he makes: 3:08 Man, playing Classic DOOM is still so much fun.
3:03 the death 1,2, and 3 noises are always the most hilarious to me. I've heard "death 3" in a lot of other things like commercials, shows, and movies.
I want a high-budget DOOM movie franchise with legit special effects, modern versions of the classic sound effects, and ALL the monsters, including the rare ones.
Have you never heard of the Hi-Res Doom sounds by PerKristan? He only managed to find 77 of them, but I am actually working on (and almost finished) remastering the rest.
Resident evil 4 uses the same elevator sound when the player opens automatic doors. The Witcher 2 uses marine's pain sound if Heralt stays for a while with soldiers trying to destroy the gate. The gate is shown on 9:42 in this video: ruclips.net/video/ZR9veGvcvXA/видео.html (i just don't know how this section is called in english)
Johnathon Beaumont Yes actually. The Archvile is a conflicted being as it destroys everything that gets in its way while simultaneously bringing demons be to life. It sees itself as a good creature which is why it's horrified that someone would kill it.
It seems anything emotionally intense is watched from 'above'. During last moments of life here, lamb cries only pure love, as intense as pain. Perhaps that's why was used in the past as offering to God ... which makes this sound effect soo crippy ...
Another Fun Fact: The Vores from Quake use that same Jaguar sound for their attack sound, but played backwards and slowed down a bit. The Vore death sound is also the same Jaguar sound, not reversed, but still slowed down.
0:23 for instant panic mode
3:12 the sound of constant death
1:56 is the cutest sound ever.
i wonder why they make that sound
Sounds like my stomach when ever I'm hungry
I love that the imps just walk around chirping/honking. It makes them animal-like which is awesome.
@@dannybroblox3633 I WAA JUST GONNA WRITE THE SAME THING!! :D in all my life i was refering the sound like my stomach too :D
i was just here to get that as my sms alert xD
They use the door sound effects a lot in movies.
They use the Cube sound from the final boss for door sounds in movies etc.
+Phoenix Conrad Yeah even today you still hear doom sounds everywhere.
Surprisingly, the door sound was used on Galaxy Quest because the filmmakers don't wanted to use the classic Star Trek "swoosh" sound
Doctor Who 2005 Season 2 Episode 8 - 9
Christopher Stone Yeah, I remember that lol
0:19 is one of the most satisfying sounds, especially when you hit it with a double barrell
Sounds so crunchy
I don't think they are THAT hard to kill
0:33 That alert sound was so spooky when he spots you and you don't know where he's at
Byron Villacorta 0:22 was even worse
2:31 is also pretty tense, especially when you hear several of them which is common.

1:41 I hear that sound fx in many movies and TV shows. I will always associate it with Doom.
It's impossible to forget the first time you heard the Baron of Hell roar

I thought it wouldn't get worse until my first outing with the cyber demon

I still remember the internal PC sound effect he made
2:24 his pain sound is strangely cute
Yo Ubisoft: You want to know what REAL iconic is?
THIS is iconic.
Doom still rocks after all these years
Zelousmarineinspace Over 20 years and people still play it and make PWAD--erm, PWADS and PK3s for it! It's that good of a game.
***** + Brutal Doom.
Doom is the best game ever made.
Damn straight! Better than Assassin's Creed.....or should I say ASSES CREED! XD
I agree. Also, Doom building is very addictive when adding new monsters, sounds and attacks.
I still remember playing the first one. The wall of molded human faces always terrified me.
1:07 Favorite Death Sound EVER!

These are camel noises. Seriously, they’re vocalizations from camels.

its actually a very popular stock sound of a man screaming
I know, it’s hilarious. I used to lol when I blasted two zombies at the same time and this death scream would play double😂

3:03 the death 1,2, and 3 noises are always the most hilarious to me. I've heard "death 3" in a lot of other things like commercials, shows, and movies.
The Revenant does not do the demon moan when he gets hurt, he makes a regular zombie/imp sound.
Funny to hear the death sound of the final boss reversed after reading the book Masters of Doom.
"To win the game, you must kill me - John Romero".
Hell yeah man. Great book by the way.
John Romero's head is in the Icon of sin but on a spike kill him and the Icon of Sin dies
2:17 Mancubus Pain Sound is definitely my favorite. Gives me chills everytime.

I want a high-budget DOOM movie franchise with legit special effects, modern versions of the classic sound effects, and ALL the monsters, including the rare ones.
Andi Loveall "Modern versions of classic sound effects".
Not sure how people would react to that. It'd have to be done well.
felynecomrade they seem to be doing that for some of the demons in doom eternal

0:53 oddly satisfying
1:52 is my favorite sound
That Cube sound effect is used in so many places... In movies and other games, for use when a door is opening or random space device sounds.
Yeah I got sick of that thing years ago... they just keep using it though. :(
Resident evil 4 uses the same elevator sound when the player opens automatic doors. The Witcher 2 uses marine's pain sound if Heralt stays for a while with soldiers trying to destroy the gate. Arachnotrons chase sounds always creeped me out
Mousefox The Skullbane the arcvile action sound creeps me out.
Is it just me, or does the Archvile death noise sound like it's saying "Whhhhhyyyyyyy?"
Johnathon Beaumont Yes actually. The Archvile is a conflicted being as it destroys everything that gets in its way while simultaneously bringing demons be to life. It sees itself as a good creature which is why it's horrified that someone would kill it.
It was originally a girl recorded by Bobby Prince, saying "why." He later edited the pitch.
"BHLEHWHLAUHLHEH" it sounds like the archvile is drowning too
if it was a good creature it would revive the doomguy too
To me it sounds like "AH ARCH-VILE!"
I always found the Cacodemon's alert and death sounds so weird, yet so fitting at the same time.
songs of my childhood sadly, locked in my room playing this as a child.

I just wonder how you get the sound library that contains it. Is it cheap?
About camel is also from AOE 1 too!
I constantly hear the Door, Cube, cyberdemon death, and the imp noises and soldier noises sampled in other games and movies
0:56 is slightly incorrect. The Revenant shares the same pain sound with the Imp.
thats a different version of the game i think
