These were the FluidFreeRide BK folks but I'll let yall know if another one comes up. Hey Domingo, thanks man! Getting to ride in a new area with new views is always fun, I'm glad ya'll got to experience a different side of BK with me. Thanks for the greeting! Thanks for the feedback as well. I wasn't sure if the lower resolution was that noticeable or if the higher frame rates were helping the faster ride, but it looked much smoother as I was finalizing the edits. I know it's got less of that "cinematic blurring" but I felt like it was a better representation of the speeds the machines were going!
      My mom had a good time but it's always tiring to drive in from NJ (especially with all the traffic latelly).

    Great video, love the scenery of Verazzano Bridge! I just bought the burn e from Chuck and still tuning the suspension cause I could feel the back of the scooter wobble once it hit 30mph. It's really fun (especially accelerate from 0 to 20mph) and I love the range on the Nami burn e. Thanks for your recommendation ya Ivan. Ride safe and can't wait for your next video ride.

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  Год назад +1

      Hey Kelvin, thanks for watching this video and I'm glad you enjoyed it! It was a lot of fun to record this because it showed all of us a different side of Brooklyn.
      You're very welcome and OMG CONGRATULATIONS on your new scooter! Ride well and please ride safely with protective gear. Its always better to be overly protected vs. regretting it if/when you fall. It is NYC after all. I recommend tuning the suspension based on what Rider Guide did ( ruclips.net/video/zn06HZ9bjEM/видео.html ). Also, keep in mind that your stance has a lot to do with the stability of the scooter. I keep my feet shoulder width apart and staggered so it gives me maximum stability as well as the ability to brace for hard acceleration and deceleration. Also, I always wedge my back heel against that back slope ( ruclips.net/video/Af7EyhUNAes/видео.html ).
      I hope this helps!

    • @kwkKelvin

      Totally agree with you about the different parts of Brooklyn have their own unique side, which is why I would love to cruise around Brooklyn once I get used to the Burn E.
      Thanks! I got a modular helmet but I feel like it's too hot for summer and I'm still trying to decide what dirt helmet I should get. I totally agree, I think NYC drivers and pedestrians are next level. I'm not sure how other states were, but pedestrians that walk on the bike lane and cars that suddenly u turn is really frustrating.
      THANK YOU for sharing the links. I did tune according to the Rider Guide and it was the stance that actually made a lot of difference. Now it doesn't wobble when I hit 40 mph on West Side Highway.

    I enjoyed the ride, but I'm not sure I'd ever want to ride in that area! I'm sure it's fun, although I can totally see myself getting too complacent and taking more chances than any sane person should given all the dynamic hazards everywhere! I also noticed most riders seldom wear bright colors for increased visibility, even if it's just a bright helmet, seems kind of strange to me given that it's basically the wild west out there on the big city streets!

    • @eyebahnrides
      @eyebahnrides  Год назад +1

      I’m glad you enjoyed it! This was a really fun ride and all the new scenery was nice as well. It was nice to just follow the group because I could focus on enjoying the scenery and the ride. Lol, everyone always starts off timid and overly cautious (as they should). As confidence grows, it gets crazier and crazier lol. We rode very aggressively when we had the space to do so but we tried to be as respectful as possible to those around us. I’m learning that I like these smaller rides because it’s a lot more manageable and less reckless than some of the larger hooligan rides. All the dynamic hazards, keep you awake and on your toes 😂.
      Yea, most of the riders here wear pretty muted colors. That’s why I personally have a reflective jacket for colder the darker days and I wear the brake free light on the back of my helmet. People don’t see it but I actually have blacked out reflective stickers on the front of the Nami to help with visibility!
      I think you’d have a blast in the city lol. Just don’t be that guy in JB360s video who was being super reckless and ended up in an ambulance at the end of the ride. I never wish that on anyone 🙏🏼

      There are so many factors to take into consideration that I don't believe I can answer your question accurately. I can only tell you what I get with my weight, set up, and riding style. I'm around 210lb with gear on and I can get anywhere between 45- 60 miles of range with the 35ah battery. I get less range than that when its cold and windy. After that the thing that affects my range the most is how I'm riding. If I'm being really aggressive with long stretches of high speed riding and aggressive stop & go, I'll get around 45 miles. However, if it's just my normal commuting and I'm chilling, I get around 50-60 miles. If i weighed less and didn't live in NYC, I believe its possible to get better range from the Burn E2 max's 40 ah battery.
      I know this isn't the definitive answer that you're looking for, but I hope it helps.

These zombies will wander into street with out even looking up because they're flipping through their phone... its kind of annoying but an unfortunate part of the city.
