Currently rendering a scene and blender keeps running out of gpu after a few frames. Usually I'd ignore this & restart everytime but today I decided to look for some sort of solution. After watching this video, I got more than I bargained for. I can playback my animation in blender better than usual. It's currently rendering so I'm keeping a look out for what happens after a few frames, regardless, this video helped so I appreciate that. Thank you ✌🏾.
Update: Still crashes after a few frames so I have to adjust number of frames and restart everytime but on the upside, blender now opens up a lot faster.

That's perfect. There is no need to worry about if your cpu or gpu are used at 100%, just make sure you have cooling fans and don't overclock it. That's fine

You're welcome 🙂. You can run any executables as a result it will change the blender version only. These gpu settings will be lost as you will change versions, you have to apply program settings again in nvidia control panel settings!

It says error out of memory when your gpu ram is low. Apply all these settings and enable gpu acceleration in blender. Close all gpu consuming programs in the background and try again

The Nvidia application interface has undergone significant changes. And this video is outdated, so it does not give the right answers in 2025. For example, why when I installed the 4070S video card I just bought - the rendering of the test file was 1 minute and 36 seconds (with all other programs turned off on the computer), then two weeks later and under exactly the same conditions (all other programs turned off), the rendering of the test file already exceeds 2 minutes? What happened? Why did 1.36 minutes change by more than 2 minutes? And this last number (more than 2 minutes) became stable. Where is the previous 1 minute and 36 seconds? I did not change anything in the system itself or in the test file. I only enabled the item in the OS "Scheduling the graphics processor with hardware acceleration". Did this action really slow down the rendering by as much as half a minute?
I read all the comments. Everything is positive. So I have hope that mine will work. I will try this when I am free. If it works, I will definitely hit the subscribe button. and I will share this video with my blender friends.

wont increasing those antialiasing filters to 8x make it slower as it would require more GPU?
It will use these effects when needed, you can go with media like 2x or 4x if your gpu is low end

Интерфейс приложения от Нвидиа претерпел существенные изменения. И это видео - устарело, так не даёт правильных ответов в 2025 году. Например, почему когда я установил только что купленную мной видеокарту 4070S - рендеринг тестового файла составил 1 минуту и 36 секунд (при всех выключенных других программах на компьютере), то уже две недели спустя и ровно при тех же условиях (отключены все остальные программы), рендеринг тестового файла уже превышает 2 минуты? Что произошло? Почему 1,36 минуты - помеялись на 2 с лишним минуты? И это последнее число (2 с лишним минуты) стало устойчивым. Где прежние 1 минута и 36 секунд? Я не менял ничего ни в самой системе, ни в тестовом файле. Только включил пункт в ОС "Планирование графического процессора с аппаратным ускорением". Неужели это действие замедлило рендеринг на целых пол-минуты?
