Bro your work is second to none. You truly have mastered your craft and respect where it's due because in life nothing is given it takes hard work and perseverance and that shows. Im a new barber myself and been cutting hair now for just under a year. For the most part im self taught but ive been taking advice and knowledge from people wherever I can. Mostly following styles and techniques from others and seeing which one i can master. Ultimately i realise it's my lack of knowledge of the grades and understanding how to utilize them that let's me down i.e. the lengths and what they equate to by being opened or closed, what fades into what, how the same grade open or closed can be used to blend into or take out another line etc. Id love some understanding on the issue i think this is something that myself along with alot of new barbers struggle with when first getting into the business. Id love if you could make a video specifically on this topic. Much respect bro.
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy listens thank you bro Ive been able to benefit from your tutorials from even something as simple as holding the blade flat on the head and anchoring. I definitely appreciate you taking the time out of your day to respond. I hope you able to take your career to the next level whatever that may be. Peace and prosperity 🤜🏾
I'm a big fan of Stylecraft, I've got the rebels, apex, mythic and saber. I can't stop reaching for my rebels every time. I wish style craft would come out with a metal body for the rebel and I think that would reduce the noise a lot. One thing I do not like is that the screw for the lever goes straight into plastic. I had to wrap the screw in a little teflon tape for my Saber because out of the box it wanted to back out while cutting hair, I wish little things like this were metal and the build quality would be improved a lot in my opinion. Screwing into plastic is not a long term solution
0:32 You replaced the Apex stock cutter with a deep tooth cutter, but on the website it says "Includes: Slim Deep black cutter". Is that the same as the deep tooth cutter?
I love taper blades and I plan on swapping the fade blade on my apex immediately. And the spare fade blade will go onto one of my old corded 5 star seniors . Still testing out the faper blade I really enjoy it paired with the stagger tooth cutting blade from wahl magi clips i have that setup on my corded wahl 5 star seniors .
Been learning alot from your videos. I've been cutting my hair and both of my boys hair with a Wahl 2000 and a peanut trimmer. They've done a decent job but would like to go cordless and and graduate into a proper set of clippers. Alot of the trimmers exceed what I should spend but I demand quality tools just like I would for my cars and trucks. Would the Apex be a good clipper that would last many years if cared for?
the difference in weight between the 2 is very noticeable, if you dont like heavy clippers go rebel, but if youre looking for longevity like you said the rebel is super sturdy, has a better build quality
Bro can u educate on the cutting blades? Stagger tooth vs deep tooth, etc. I see so many videos on fade vs taper vs fusion blades but NOBODY talks about the cutting blades which is a huge part
rebel more torque, comes down to 3 hour vs 6 hours with a more quiet and slightly less torque, if youre a barber cutting alot of heads id go saber if youre limited to one choice
@@BrandnFrazier I'm not sure what's going on. Im currently FedEx tracking my Rebels and Saber trimmers. They were supposed to be here last week. They are in route, hoping they will be in tomorrow.
I would like to get my hands on the Rebel motor. Ive seen it in some areas. Would like to install it on my Designer Clipper which i made some adjustments to it
tbh a gamma ergo and sc ergo are the same exact motor, same for sc rebel and gamma boosted, only difference i noticed is gamma spends more on looks of the tool so thats why sc is more affordable
i preder the Apex..for me much better clipper over all ..rebel is too noisy...for those ones who cannot afford Apex i can suggest you buy Kiepe Power up.. it's pretty same clipper for less money...100$

@Chapo Finesse The ergonomics are completely different though, I'd like a metal rebel shaped like a rebel I guess is what I meant
My Apex already came with the deep tooth cutter blade, I only installed the Fusion blade and made it the best clippers I’ve bought yet!!!
Great informative video. Ima try either apex or mythic with taper blade
0:32 You replaced the Apex stock cutter with a deep tooth cutter, but on the website it says "Includes: Slim Deep black cutter". Is that the same as the deep tooth cutter?
whats wrong with the fade blade?

Great Video Brother! Thanks for always keeping us in the loop and going above and beyond!
Starting barber school soon. Would you go with the Mythic or Apex?
Which clipper would you recommend for self cutting? Whether it’s one of these two or any other clipper
What's the actual difference between Deep tooth and shallow tooth?
Would you prefer the wahl magic clip or senior?
Do you find Stylecraft rotary and brushless motor loses power after 4 or more months of use?
I put a taper blade on my mythic to give it a try and it just seems off any thoughts? Like it don’t perform the same
where can i find the rebel?
Just put on my taper blade on my saber can’t wait to cut!
Besides eBay, where is the Rebel currently available for purchase ? It's not listed on the Stylecraft web site.
@@RUclipsBarberAcademy You'd think they would indicate that on their website instead of completely removing it. Thanks for the updated info.

My rebel is not that loud even without oil
For fading, I use my mythic with the gamma Taper (not Faper or fusion) blade and deept tooth cutting blade. This is my cheat code 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

Bro one question, for fade what do You preffer , x ergo, Sc ergo or Sc rebel?
X ergo
Can you put a Masters cutting blade and a Masters ‘Still’ blade on either of those clippers?
Only a master still blade on the sabers
@@kevinsmith3046 u happen to know if that crunch sound still pops if put on a Saber
what about the saber vs rebel

Have you been on the Stylecraft/Gamma website recently?
The Rebel and Boost are gone.
That’s wild, Mine just came in the mail last week. Perfect timing I guess.
What you think going on?

What would you recommend for someone that just wants one clipper?
Kiepe prescelta or madehsow r66
I’m getting the apex for 99 dollars rn
They in my Top 5 … just did a video about these two .. if you have time I would love your feedback when you watch it

please include the site you bought them from.
The apex is trash, I bought 2 and they both died in less than 2 weeks
You're stacking the deck, stop, straight out of the box the rebel is the best. You turned the Apex into a rebel.,🤦🏾♂️
