Yeah I think If i was 12 I would have loved this but it's right down the middle for me. SO FAST, we were laughing at how quick the intros and exposition happened. Felt very standard, but there's nothing particularly wrong with that. There was one line about a particular card that was repeated that was so outrageously funny to me, especially because we had just discussed the very literal reading of tarot cards in The Quarry 😀
I've felt that more and more movies in the last 15 years don't like to work on exposition or character building in the beginning and just want to jump to the action.
This is getting absolutely ripped to shreds but idk it looks like dumb fun to me so I think I’ll check it out eventually. Horoscope was a much better tittle though
The trailer definitely gives a lot of way. I usually skip trailers and just watch the movie but I watched the trailer for this one. I'm right there with you. I really liked this movie. It is predictable but it's fun! It's a perfect movie to watch with a group. And the creatures looked so awesome!
I've only seen the trailer once maybe twice it dose look like one of those trailers that give a lot away I don't know if I'll go and see this in theatres I might wait for it like I did with Immaculate to be available for home media.
I hated it. It was so formulaic and predictable. You have your usual group of friends, one who isn't like the others but is somehow in the group, anyway. Every person in the group has a different sign. Not impossible, but convenient. The readings contain obvious keywords and phrases that predict the deaths. I could go on, but I don't want to spoil too much. Some people loved it, and that's fine. I'm just not one of them.
@@NightmareMaven yes I did and I can't believe literally everyone is bashing this besides one other reviewer. I loved the lore and just wish the kills weren't neutered by the rating. More character development would have helped and maybe if they took their time and extended the scare sequences they would have been more effective.
i don’t even know to what to say tbh, you don’t even know the characters so you don’t feel for them or even have a favorjte one. Deaths are insanely predictable and dialogue either is boring/doesn’t make sense. they couldn’t call the old lady before and had to drive 3+ hours to see her but later on they just call her and she shows up in the matter of 3 seconds, it’s just crazy bad and wish it was better made

I just watched the movie and I've got to agree with Spookyastronauts. It's not a good movie at all but also not terrible. It's just too average.
