I feel like you were speaking to me personally! I totally agree that too many people seem to default to “haha, old game bad.” I always look for the positives in games as someone took the time to lovingly create it. I also try and resist the pressure to put out constant content just to appease the algorithm. Game Dave videos always feel special because you can feel the passion in them. I know you haven’t booted up the game just to capture the gameplay for an hour before “reviewing” it. I love everything you do, Dave. Just keep being you buddy!

I did a video myself stating this exact same thing. Being a smaller channel myself I would rather create what I want rather than what may appeal to those who aren’t loyal to my channel. Those who’ve watched me over the years appreciate my content and that’s who I make it for. Trying to appeal to the algorithm or trending events aren’t always what I’m interested in. Stay true to yourself and views will follow. I know it’s easier said than done…but at least you’ll be happy with who you are in the end.

I feel like you were speaking to me personally! I totally agree that too many people seem to default to “haha, old game bad.” I always look for the positives in games as someone took the time to lovingly create it. I also try and resist the pressure to put out constant content just to appease the algorithm. Game Dave videos always feel special because you can feel the passion in them. I know you haven’t booted up the game just to capture the gameplay for an hour before “reviewing” it. I love everything you do, Dave. Just keep being you buddy!
So… real feels… Love your content Dave, your videos always put a smile on my face. I hope you’re not getting too bogged down, the community you’ve built is solid, whatever you make, whenever you make it, we’re here for it :) Also, lounging Ghostbuster Dave is the true id for most of us.
This video totally spoke to me in a lot of ways. We all need to find something to fill that void. For me, filling it with creativity has always been key. Spending time with my family and friends helps as well. I would draw all the time, but once the daily grind takes hold, it sucked up everything in its wake. Lol But keep up the great content, Dave. This video gave me a 2001 A Space Odyssey vibes.

Dave, the comments don't lie. We love you and your content. I was playing Alice: Madness Returns btw. I took a break and saw you had a new vid! I'm with you. Create to create. It's great to see views, but the things I make I do because I love them. I feel you do the same plus some. You are way more creative with your dialog, characters as of late, and your editing. Cmon...the whole video dedicated to your awesome Hue set up! You have a child now, you're a dad! I can't be the only middle ager with a kid to watch you. I'm 37, and my son is 15...believe me I get it. All I know is you've always had a great show. It's never been cookie cutter. I do love me some KH though... Lol I guess what I'm getting at is those of us that watch you for you know that you are someone we relate with. I just found you through a twitter post by John Linneman and am glad I did. This was so much fun to watch and you're a natural. I'm always thinking I go too far in some of my videos to entertain even though I'm really just having a fun time of it all. And then I find someone like you, that's a veteran of this platform while I'm just a year old noob, and it reminds me I'm going in the right direction with my content too. And how much more I still have to improve. Next time I get another comment on my cringe humor I'll tell 'em GameDave made me do it 😏

Well said Dave. Quality over quantity is always the best way. Your famicorner videos got me into Famicom collecting(I even made my own converter to play them on my NES). It all started with Donald Land(my favorite video of yours) and I haven’t looked back since. So you do make a difference man. Keep doing work you believe in. 👍🏼

I did a video myself stating this exact same thing. Being a smaller channel myself I would rather create what I want rather than what may appeal to those who aren’t loyal to my channel. Those who’ve watched me over the years appreciate my content and that’s who I make it for. Trying to appeal to the algorithm or trending events aren’t always what I’m interested in. Stay true to yourself and views will follow. I know it’s easier said than done…but at least you’ll be happy with who you are in the end.
