Personally, what I think will happen in shadow generations is the presence of 9 zones and 3 bosses like in sonic generations, but only 1 act instead of 2 for the levels. Izuka said that shadow generations would be shorter than the main game, and it is apparently going to have an open zone hub world, it makes sense that it still has a large number of levels to travel to, while still being a tight experience.
These maps are cool but I want to see more variety in the stages. Like the snow level in '06, jungle level in Adv2 or Heroes, and the castle level in heroes.

Sky Troops can have a chance to be a playable stage, but the rest of the levels... I think not. ;-; Space Station ARK have been confirmed in the demo during the Summer Game Fest, so no Sky Rail & same goes for King-GOAT Valley who have been confirmed in the trailer. So no Wave Ocean, nor Flame Core. But maybe I could be wrong and they'll put two levels of each game like they did in the demo with Space Station ARK who becomes Radical Highway (or Westopolis ?) in the end. But don't except this to be happens again in some levels.

My stage wishlist besides the ones that we already got confirmation for: SA2: White Jungle and Sky Rail Heroes: Egg Fleet Shadow 05: Sky Troops, Lava Shelter Sonic 06: White Acropolis or Radical Train and Dusty Desert with a potential Mephiles bossfight
And to add to this, a list of side missions you can unlock after completing the normal mission. SA2 - find the Dark Chao (like every 3rd mission in that game) Heroes - 100 enemies (like in Team Dark second missions) Shadow 05 - do it's Hero and Dark missions (shoot battleships, destroy green jewels, etc...) Sonic 06 - ride the vehicles in races against Shadow Androids.
I'm honestly curious how the game will handle things, given how it seems like they're going to be hybridizing levels. We got Final Rush/Final Chase that then goes into the mixture of Radical Highway and Westopolis.

I would 1000% be completely happy with Generations being the next remastered title but only if the modern Sonic stages got replaced compared to the original. But sadly I know that’s a far cry from perfection
I'm saddened to see no appetite for Rivals duology concepts to return. I don't love those games but they provided some great stuff. Seeing stages like Death Yard Zone or Blue Coast Zone would be peak, not to mention any of the boss fights which all had peak designs.
Fun fact: Side missions/quests for Sky Troops, dark mission to blow the battleships out the skies and the hero mission to destroy the temple jewels after completing the normal mission, for Sky Rail a mission to find the Dark Chao like on every 3rd mission in SA2.
Dude its amazing that fans made these levels they look so good also that last level was insanely cool looks so fun they outdid themselves with that one so awesome looking loved it
Probably the Shadow episode will have only one zone per game origin, one zone from SA2B and one from StH06 were already confirmed. Maybe if Sega launches official DLC zones, but regular ones, not a minigame like Casino Night.
You already have seen the whole game. Shadow’s only been in 4 games and they have done one level from each of those games already. I’m not expecting a lot from Sonic Team, so take this with a grain of salt.
I've seen so many videos of this stage and in all those videos no one ever takes the loop from the start, Its like everyone trying to speed run this stage by sliding on the water but the loops look fun and cool😢
@@semu8030but the graphics of Frontiers are similar to Sonic X Shadow Generations. Plus there’s no point in using the Base Generations engine because the Shadow story of Sonic X Shadow Generations will never look like it.
@@debisi5067 Have you seen the Radical Highway port someone made with the Frontiers engine? It feels wrong because even if Frontiers have pretty much all the abilities of Adventure 2 Sonic, the speed of Shadow in this case proves to be slower and that makes the experience not as enjoyable. I'd say it's not that important that the stages in this video look close to how they would in Sonic x Shadow Generations, it's more important that they play similar and for that in this case the Gens engine is the best option
I really want to see Egg Fleet and Final Fortress from Sonic Heroes make it in Shadow Generations, Flame Core would be great as well.
