I just can't wrap my mind around the fact the Sam doesn't even have 500K subs. How is that possible? His content is SO much better than most car RUclipsrs! Crazy.
@@johnair1 Nah man! His adventures are the best thing on youtube at the moment! I would hate to see how he's gonna deal with it all as soon as his drive the world trip ends,as he's definitely gonna struggle to top that! But i hope he eventually does!!!
You guys are amazing. I use my 911 daily during summer time including groceries at Costco. Last month my buddy and I fitted 7 cases of sparkling water in with a bunch of other food. In addition, we picked up 2 buckets of fried chicken on the way home and still had plenty of space if we were needed to pick up more things. The experience to own and live with a 911 is definitely beyond just about speed. Always enjoy seeing someone taking theirs out for long trips and adventures. Well done guys! Travel safe and have lots of fun.
8 months STG is on the road, yet he has managed to keep the identity of his GF private. If it were other youtubers, the girl would be on screen 95% of the time. Great respect :)
I know you’ve had lots of hits for your super car content, but this is what DTW is all about. And the moment when Lucy the dog leans into the corner is a classic. Keep doing this stuff Sam, you may not have the hit rate, but it’s why we are following you
Sam, the content is out of this world, honestly. Brilliant scenery, brilliant stories... Just keep doing it. I keep repeating myself, but #drivetheworld needs millions of views
Sam the reason why I love your channel is because it’s fun to watch and it seems doable and theres no bragging of any form. Even your friend Phil (I know he’s a rich guy) there’s not an ounce of pretense in either of you. Your videos always makes me smile and appreciate life’s adventures.
What a combo, those two cars on the trot in the forest! absolute dream to have. Enjoy the time in the Olympics Brock, some phenomenal views, campsites, and roads up there.
I love watching your videos. They are so mature (and better) than the normal car vlogger out there. Are you coming out towards Chicago / Detroit on your trip?
What a great year you’ve had so far, loving the videos more and more. Great content, interesting subject matters and original narrative, keep up the good work!
What a great episode; beats the Shmees of the world who seem to need to outdo with more purchases of (admittedly) beautiful cars but they lack the soul, spirit and substance of yours, well done...oh, don't forget the LeMay Museums in Tacoma.....
The 992 took a half step back when they deleted those beautifully over engineered 991/997 cup holders. Get vid, looks great on my chromecast and 4K T. V.
Good thing there wasn’t a Singer in the park or we would miss out on those beautiful shots! Lol Still glad I saw the original with the interview! Keep up the great work Sam!
First ever comment after watching your videos for years ! , loving 'Drive the world' Sam , can't believe you don't get more views considering the epic content. I always thought Bigfoot , Sasquatch and the abominable snowman were the same mythological creature , just like Nessie , the Loch Ness Monster it generates a lot of tourist income from rumours & speculation about possible sightings based on misconceptions. Here's to 500k well-deserved subscribers before the end of your trip !.
You’re in my neck of the woods!! When in Bend go to The Ale Apothecary. Paul & Stacy are great people. Tell them Cameron Channell Sent you, they’ll take care of you for sure! Some of the best beers you’ll ever have!
Awesome, Sam. I drove from SFO to Seattle too starting last Monday. I just got back yesterday and we were at the Avenue of the Giants yesterday. Crazy how big those trees are. Enjoy your US tours!
the utili-Porsche look on the 996 looks great! Apparently roof rack and tent is what the 996 has been missing all along! Shots of the wheaten terrier (or is it a golden-doodle?) in the tent on the 911 is so friggin cute!
Did parts of that same route in reverse when I picked up my 991.1S. Great video about it on my channel. You missed out not taking the coastal route though!!!
Yep, that’s awesome. I was hoping to run into you on your Oregon leg. But, I’m going down the 101. It’s probably to late but if you drive west from Portland to Canon Beach, the road is pretty good and really beautiful. Then if you go north you’ll go where they filmed Goones and Short Circut.
STG - This was a great post. I love the idea of camping with the 991. I'm curious about which specific rooftop cargo box you were using (size/model). I like the profile and size ratio to vehicle.
Yo, i am on a road trip in my M2 and I will be in Bend tomorrow! Drink at Boneyard brewery and try their RPM IPA. Also search for Thai food in Bend. Cheers!
Near san fran you have a nice road there called la honda. I know youve driven many european roads but that ones mad fun as long as there is no traffic ;). Since it looks like your passing by there anyways...

Wow, that just blew my mind.
@@tunes4life his normal vlogs have been great the last few years.
Tunes4Life maybe he should do 4 weeks adventures in different country’s more in-depth a few times each year. But yea agree 👌🏼
ikr ! And meanwhile tj hunt has like 1.5 million subs...
Can not believe that you are almost 8 months on your drive the world! Time flys by so quick! Thanks for sharing it with us!!!
Just seen you get off the ferry in Vancouver thought I'd come check out your Channel
Wow! This guy's trip sounds in-tents... 😉

This is the best car series on RUclips.

I enjoy these road trip VLOGS more than all the super car meets. You chatting with Nicky and fellow drivers you meet is such fun and interesting.
Brilliant video, nice to see the more travelogue style retuning and great to hear Vicki again. When is the next BTG?
Sam's B-roll footage with the choices of music gives me such good vibes. It looks super professional. Keep at it!
One of my favorites Porsche lifestyle' Instagram, so glad you got him featured

Love.seeing stuff like this.
TY Porsche for the 996 and its headlights. Enabling almost anyone to buy a 911.
Mandurath haha so accurate!!
