The trick they used in zero is not too difficult. See 6:58 in that frame they tracked individual part of body from body double and the main character like in parts like face, shoulder to torso, and legs different from both main character and body double. That is actually simple in its way ☺️ ✌️. Edit : I was there when they were editing
Info on the Zero VFX :D The same team did another movie earlier where the same actor played 2 characters. One of them whas in his twenties so they shrunk his shoulders and made him a little shorter and so on there to. You might be able to find more information in the "making of" for that movie. It was called FAN (It looks great by the way my mother watched that whole movie not realising it whas the same actor!) The video is called "Watch How Shah Rukh Khan Became The Fan - GAURAV"

Yes... ZERO is a good movie though not great... Still It flopped in India because people get influenced by negativity so easily... And there are so many haters of SRK who do nothing but just spread negativity
@Sandeep Mehta i understand your love for SRK and I know he is a brilliant Actor, but please don't tell me this movie was anything but a crapshot. The second half of this movie was unbearable, no way you could justify that ending, Anushka Sharma elongated her stammering dialogue that hearing her became a pain. Anand L Rai who makes Dehli NCR based family-coms made this a sci-fi in the end, which is absolutely abysmal to say the least. Extremely boring and badly crafted story, felt as if it was elongated to infinity. I don't even want to go into the stupid sci-fi stuff and technical details because the movie itself was such a disaster, it didn't connect to people emotionally and didn't have an impressive comec performance too, and please stop labeling people who don't enjoy bad movies as "you didn't understand lol", I've been seeing 20 years of Indian and Western/Japanese and Korean Cinema and I know to differentiate between a good movie and a bad one. Coming to your argument on why sending SRK instead of the chimpanzee was practically correct, you need to realise that chimpanzee are sent to space instead of humans because Human lives matter more, You can't just replace them and be okay with it. Additionally you also questioned on how Nolan's Masterpiece Interstellar is Scientifically inaccurate, I don't understand why you did that, why compairing a Masala entertainer Indian film to an actual sci- fi, well, still I wanna tell that it isn't inaccurate. First of all, they don't go in a black hole, they go to a planet near the black hole. The spaghettification effect stats from the beginning of event horizon, which they are nowhere near, yes and I'm not saying that all of it is true, but most of it is accurate and in accordance to actual scientific hypothesis.

zero theory: the body double was the heart as he was in the every shot but instead of using him they use him as a reference to shrink the actor in the green screen(with the both actor) . and to fill in the gap created by the height and covered part they use the solo one where shahrukh do it alone. you can look it at the solo one there are no legos. you can see some parts in the 6:10 shot from direction of the light shown by the side actor.
@Sandeep Mehta Do you have this SCRIPT written in a notepad that you just copied pasted conveniently ? I don't have time to read it but appreciate your effort to defend yourself. You can rattle around here as much you want, but the fact that your views are different from mine will remain true.

Zero: Theory. In that scene, they do the same process as with the scene that you explained before hand. HOWEVER, the body double is more than just a reference and they actually use parts of his body (points of contact with the actress) in the film and blend them together with the actors shrunk body. Edit: Comment claims they did not use the body double in filming. If that is in fact truth, then look at the scenes again. Seems slightly mismatching in proportions (especially left shoulder) making it possible they shrunk everything BUT the points of contact.

Every intellectual Indian here making fun of their own movies and do not even acknowledge that ZERO was a movie with flawless VFX!
They are telling about the shit script of zero. They have told good about is vfx

THAT INTRO WAS FREAKING amazing!!!! ... I did “amazing” in lowercase because I really wanted to do mega caps but until that’s a thing, lowercase is the best option.
reading this burnt my soul
The trick they used in zero is not too difficult. See 6:58 in that frame they tracked individual part of body from body double and the main character like in parts like face, shoulder to torso, and legs different from both main character and body double. That is actually simple in its way ☺️ ✌️.
Edit : I was there when they were editing

The way Clint moves his leg in chopper style. Sick.
I figured it out. He has the ability to shrink himself at will and they filmed it normally, and then lied about how they did it to protect him.

That's probably becuase that gag was recreated in Main Hoon Na and some compilations of funny Bollywood scenes keep conflating that movie with Kopps.
@Sandeep Mehta Yep, you're right! I've mistaken those two movies as they are from the same director.
Info on the Zero VFX :D
The same team did another movie earlier where the same actor played 2 characters.
One of them whas in his twenties so they shrunk his shoulders and made him a little shorter and so on there to. You might be able to find more information in the "making of" for that movie.
It was called FAN
(It looks great by the way my mother watched that whole movie not realising it whas the same actor!)

Tamil movies are very less like this.
They did a lot of work in "zero"
Although it was a flop but respect for work they did there.
That's a shame. Is it good? That looks like a movie that'd do pretty good in North America.
@@TallicaMan1986 The first half was good the second half not so much
It had great VFX but no story. So, yeah...
As an Indian I can say that the intro was accurately Bollywood

zero theory:
the body double was the heart as he was in the every shot but instead of using him they use him as a reference to shrink the actor in the green screen(with the both actor) . and to fill in the gap created by the height and covered part they use the solo one where shahrukh do it alone. you can look it at the solo one there are no legos. you can see some parts in the 6:10 shot from direction of the light shown by the side actor.

No, the film makers have been very adamant that the body double only was used as a reference.
Like Captain America first movie. You might be right here. The neck in the last scene mighthave given it away.
