The actor in Zero, besides being like, a mega-star, has been pioneering VFX and camera work since the time he began making serious money. He brought a number of really expensive camera systems and rigs to India and began renting them out, then started his own production house (Red Chillies) which apart from just making their own stuff does a bunch of VFX for other movies too.
As a person who saw ambala right about when it released, this"stunt" scene instantly made meme material and the whole South Indian audience had a good laugh

@Sandeep Mehta obviously the effects were brilliant, better than Bahubali ofcourse. Zero's vfx shots were clean and made it seem look real. But the story sucked for big time. I am srk's biggest fan but I am also an honest critic. The story did not do justice to the characters. Frankly the first half was so better but the second half was KILLING me to my bones. They made me feel like I am watching some kind of never ending daily soap, it just wouldn't end and even the plot became so irrelevant. Anyway SRK was in the movie and we could see his passion for that character, that's all kept me tied to my seat.

the zero part still my favourite from this whole series of VFX artists react. it really is flawless
Zero did have a weak storyline but it was really hard for them to make the effects
I love how Zero could have just got a small actor to play the role, but instead they utilised a filming system so complex that even Corridor Crew are baffled by it
In India(B/K/T...ollywood) the actor that plays the role, or more importantly his fame and fan base, is valued highly.
If any other actor played in zero it would not cross even 100mil rupees tbh

For the movie Zero,they didn't use any CG,they actually removed SRK's(the actor) legs surgically and then attatched another person's legs.They then shot the entire film and reattached SRK's orginal legs....

Seriously though, one of the BEST ad breaks. It's like he's walking through Saving Private Ryan. Just minding his own.
Got immensely proud when they were trying to wrap their heads around the brilliance of Zero!

The trick they used in zero is not too difficult. See 6:58 in that frame they tracked individual part of body from body double and the main character like in parts like face, shoulder to torso, and legs different from both main character and body double. That is actually simple in its way ☺️ ✌️.

The scene where she's struggling to break up the fight, it looks like they've had to use her forearm and hand from the original shot, scaled down, because her hand and arm are scaled to him, not to her, you can kinda see where her arm gets thinner...
yeah they subtly move from big to small and its hard to spot. But you see it from the size of his upper arm.
I felt proud when these guys reacted to Zero.

Respect to Clint, the color blind struggle is real. When I was in school for animation, I used to wonder why everyone thought my color choices were so weird.
In movie "zero" after shooting 5 time's there was still requirement for clean up...they made clean plates without his arms and all...when his hand were overlapping his torso they asked for clean up that part...they had to clean up his hands or some object they had in original plate...they shrunk his body arms legs one by one and then comp in one...they use several tricks for this movie... Every shot has some new tricks...can't explain that properly.. sorry for that....

It has the same effect that green lantern does, with CGI suits and CGI face reconstruction, with cars flinging around, crashing into buses. It’s surprisingly decent.

in the movie zero they put boxes every where on the ground and the normal size actors were walking on boxes but the dwarf actor which is the main lead was not walking on the boxes which made him look smaller than the other actors
