Anybody else crying over how badass that housefly's death scene was? I'm struggling to think of a way to explain _why_ someone wrote that, but all I'm coming up with are tears of joy _because_ they wrote it.
Actually the plot was - There was a young man who fell in love with the girl in the red dress, but there was another guy ( the man who died brutally) who loved her too. So he killed the other man , covering it up as an accident. However, the person who died was reborn as a fly. Now you can guess the rest :)
Well technically it's a man reborn as a fly with his past life memories and hence having the mind of a man who's out for revenge against the guy that killed him. It's a great story.
RaOne was and is still to this day, one of my favorite films. For anyone confused as to how the hell is the dude doing supernatural stuff and also glowing blue in the cuts, here's an explanation. Ofcourse, spoilers ahead! So, this movie revolves around a kid and his dad who is a game dev. The dad gets a deal to make a VR game with full body suit where you take part in 3 levels againt the main boss, who is called Ra.One (can we just agree that their design is badass!). You play as G.One ( the good guy) both of the names are a nod to Hindi as Ra.One is the villain from one of the Indian religious tales and G.One sounds like jivan which means life. Now, they made actual working physical robots of the main hero and the villain and had them on display. Turns out Ra.One becomes sentient in game and later transfers itself to the robot who later kills the dad. The main hero was modeled after the dad and he comes to life too, that's how the story goes. Now they're playing the same game but in real life. Ra.One can shape shift and mind control, that's why you see the girl driving the train, she's the mom to the kid taken control over by Ra.One. I'd recommend you guys watch it, it's an absolute banger! So cool!

Please do consider and watch them. I'm pretty sure they're worth your time..!! They're available on Netflix.. and youtube too..
They're generally impressed by Bollywood's VFXs mostly due to how clever they are. I mean their effects aren't the best, but they're very imaginative with what they have and it's very impressive.
Suggestion: check out some other effects from Ra.One. The movie is about a game designer who makes, basically, a VR game (this movie is quite old, believe it or not.), but the villain of the game comes out into real life and kills the game dev. So now that game dev's son brings out the hero of the game (the guy you see in the video, Shah rukh Khan.) out of the game, to fight the villain. That lady tampering with the train was actually the bad guy mind controlling the wife of the dead game dev. Also, briefing of the fly: basically a crimelord kills this man, and now that man is reincarnated as a fly, and wants his revenge.
I can't believe I had to go to Wikipedia to realise that Ra.One is the villain and represents Ravan, the demon king. That's so cool. I love media that uses religious themes to build a crazy modern narrative. The new Doom games do that really well too
Just for anyone who doesn’t know the plot of the fly is that it’s a guy who is reincarnated as a fly and is getting revenge. It’s not just like a regular fly lol
@Sandeep Mehta there are probably hundreds of short dudes struggling to get a role in a movie who are better actors than the mainstream bollywood actors but, well, it's just how the industry works.
Well the point is that in India, having a genuine star practically guarantees a hit film. People buy tickets not based on the premise of the film but on the leads. And I get that is to am extent applicable to every film in every country but in India it's just dialed to 11 in case of superstars like Shah rukh Khan or salman khan.
That fly movie 'Eega' starts off with a father narrating a bed time story to his son. The hero of this movie is murdered by the villan and becomes a 'fly' to take revenge. Its all like a fantasy bed time story. Quiet enjoyable and imaginative to be honest. ☺️
I really liked this movie and bought it on blu ray :) . It was so different and imaginative. But also interesting story and good acting. The director recently made the Baahubali movies.
"This is bollywood, it's not like we're looking at inertia or physics" well said😆😆 In india, those who are good at physics choose engineering not the movie industry
7:08 is that film of of SRK's..... the SRK's vfx company is the best in India, it also worked in Hollywood films like Marvel infinity war, sins city2 and Pacific rim rising etc......and also did work for great Indian films like krish3, raone and RRR
that film with the fly was a great hit in our country and it was pretty great too.... the film is about a guy who gets killed by the villain for loving the wrong girl, and that guy gets resurrected as a fly and seeks to get revenge and protect the girl he loves.... the hero has little role in his human form and the fly killed it's part. p.s :- they first did a crude version of the fly and director didn't like it and he persisted for better vfx and made this possible.
RA.ONE has more jawdropping VFX shots throughout the whole movie. Shahrukh's ( G.ONE ) suit was totally replaced in post using rotomation/bodytracking. And the replacements were so damn photorealistic that no one can notice. RCVFX ❤️
@@shmookins apparently, the "Napoleon was short" joke started with cartoons in the early 20th century. 5-7 was average height in that country back in the 1800s. It's the equivalent of saying a man who's 6 feet tall today is short lol.

They're generally impressed by Bollywood's VFXs mostly due to how clever they are. I mean their effects aren't the best, but they're very imaginative with what they have and it's very impressive.
Mubaris M Deen bollywood is so much more creative than Hollywood, I love it
yup that movie was very far ahead of time for Bollywood....
It's weird that all that leaping and running on walls look far more silly to me without the spider-man costume.

Also, briefing of the fly: basically a crimelord kills this man, and now that man is reincarnated as a fly, and wants his revenge.
i vouch for this.
It's been a long time since I saw the movie.
Forgot the villain can shapeshift
@@nazim8351 sahi kaha
I can't believe I had to go to Wikipedia to realise that Ra.One is the villain and represents Ravan, the demon king. That's so cool. I love media that uses religious themes to build a crazy modern narrative. The new Doom games do that really well too
still remember watching Ra.One on tv back then...still awesome imo despite now seeing some of the vfx flaws xD

Just for anyone who doesn’t know the plot of the fly is that it’s a guy who is reincarnated as a fly and is getting revenge. It’s not just like a regular fly lol
Oh I see, that makes so much sense now!
@@Awaytake but the entire movie was a bed time story told by a father to his son!

Bollywood : Let's use loads of budget to make a dude look short
Everyone: Why not just get a short dude??
Bollywood: Shahrukh Khan..
@Sandeep Mehta there are probably hundreds of short dudes struggling to get a role in a movie who are better actors than the mainstream bollywood actors but, well, it's just how the industry works.
Not just short dude but one with great acting talent.
Hollywood definitely needs to hire the VFX company for the second film. Modern Hollywood CGI is getting too stale and ugly
True 😊

Those words simply elevated the Tollywood!
That fly movie 'Eega' starts off with a father narrating a bed time story to his son. The hero of this movie is murdered by the villan and becomes a 'fly' to take revenge. Its all like a fantasy bed time story. Quiet enjoyable and imaginative to be honest. ☺️
Thanks for the info on that, that whole scene was gloriously weird and funny.
I remember watching it with my friend
I really liked this movie and bought it on blu ray :) . It was so different and imaginative. But also interesting story and good acting. The director recently made the Baahubali movies.

that film with the fly was a great hit in our country and it was pretty great too....
the film is about a guy who gets killed by the villain for loving the wrong girl, and that guy gets resurrected as a fly and seeks to get revenge and protect the girl he loves.... the hero has little role in his human form and the fly killed it's part.
