- Today's video is about Bioderma Sensibio products, I'm finally reviewing some of the better choices from the Sensibio line.
As you know, I have already reviewed the Bioderma Hydrabio and Photoderm lines, and it was time to share my thoughts on some cleansers and moisturizers to help you choose some acne, rosacea, and malassezia-safe products.

Also, I use the micellar water after cleansing with my Paula's choice cleanser to make sure I got everyyyyyything off. Usually still have traces of makeup that come off with the micellar water!

I've used the light cream for the past year and I like it. I live in a humid climate and it moisturizes without feeling greasy or heavy and it hasn't broken me out. It doesn't do anything to my skin which sounds underwhelming but when you've struggled to find products that don't irritate or make your skin react, it's a win! Like Olena said it's a very simple, light moisturizer. It wears well under sunscreen and foundation.

I started to use Bioderma (thanks to you) and it's working for my Rosacea sensitive skin, so happy, but I'm about to try your 3-step-metod and wondering what humectant I should use? Does it work with The Ordinary hyaluronic acid or du you have any other suggestions?

Damn, my skin gets irritated so easily especially from cleansers... I tried that one and it sadly irritated my skin, now I'm thinking about getting that micellar water, I use garnier one because it's much cheaper and it doesn't irritate my skin that much

i was diagnosed with rosacea, I have tried the sensibio foaming gel which cleansed my skin touroughly with one pump ( everything was removed including the mineral sunscreen) , however my skin becomes slightly red on the cheeks and it broke me out . Now i wanna try the micellar water version, but im skeptical towards the cotton pads . The friction of rubbing it on my face several times till my skin is clean may irritate the skin barrier in my case ?!

I LOVE the sebium line! I was thinking the exact same thing. Although, I do use multiple Bioderma products from multiple lines. Please review sebium and all Bioderma lines if you can. Take care!
@msp banane i too have just discovered this from my derm. I got pretty bad adult acne and it looks like sebium is the way to go for battling acne
Best. Products. EVER!!! If you use it just as Olena said, they will probably last you most of the year. Thank you Olena!❤️ PS I live in the US and it seems like they don’t sell Biodermas sunscreen, so I can’t find it anywhere.. not even online 😕 anyone else having this issue?
They don’t sell Bioderma sunscreens in the US because the FDA is behind on sunscreen filter regulations aka it has approved only a few select sunscreen filters such as avobenzone or titanium dioxide, for example. There are third party websites you can purchase Bioderma sunscreens from such as Care to Beauty. A quick internet search would have provided all this info. Hope this helps.
Thank you for suggesting affordable and readily available products rather than the latest expensive 'designer' products that I think we have all fallen victim to thinking that the more expensive a product is the better it will help us.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, there is no alternative for the Bioderma Sensibio Light, but so many people want it back that I would petition the brand -- the more people ask for it, the more likely they are to bring it back!

I found out that the formulation has changed, it has now avocado oil in it.. Isn't that a bad thing for acne prone skin?

How do you use the micellar water as a cleanser? Using cotton pads or just splash to face? And then rinse it with water?
Can you make a video about lotions for the body? Although there are some lotions that are fragrance free, but the majority of them are not which is irritating. I’m specifically curious about lotion bars that are made from caranuba wax and candelilla wax, are they good for the skin because I’ve heard some people say that there not because they just sit on top of skin and that they don’t penetrate any benefits 🤔

tht pink bioderma facewash saved my skin i used clean and clear facewash which literally damaged my skin barrier it made it irritating red n sore but this facewash within 15 days i do not kid within 15 days restored my skin n saved me love bioderma

Hi Olena.. for the three-step-moisture method, which product(s) will be good for the second step? Actually, I am currently using the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion alone on wet face. Can't say I LOVE it, I feel sometimes it DOES break me out.

I've had no luck with any of these products. Even hylarounic acid that you recommended irritated my skin. It's so dry now that I think I'll just have to accept it
Same here! The sensibio gel cleanser left my skin feeling dry and itchy af, even after using HA and the hydrabio moisturizer that Olena recommends. If you don't mind a stranger's recommendation, switching la roche-posay's toleriane hydrating cleanser and double repair moisturizer made a world of difference for me.

I also use the la Roche Posay Double Repair moisturizer and have great luck with it! I’ve used it for a few years now. I don’t seem to get along with this sensibio gel cleanser or the La Roche Posay Toleriane cleaners but really love and enjoy the Eucerin Dermatoclean gel cleanser.

You can, but you don't actually need to double cleanse -- it's a silly thing that people on the internet promote (I have a video on the truth about double cleansing if you're interesting in learning more!). 💖
But I use makeup every morning, so I need to do double cleansing. During double cleansing, should I use Bioderma Sensibio Gel Micellar Cleanser as a first-step cleanser or a second-step cleanser to remove my makeup? Or I should use Bioderma Sensibio micellar water first to remove my makeup. Can you please elaborate on me? Tnx.

The Bioderma sensibio light moisturizer is TOTALLY safe for oily acne prone skin? I have been using it and for a few weeks and I have a few tiny and medium size breakouts that have been increasing, and considering I have been acne-free for more than a year and a half, I am afraid this product is causing it ... my routine consists in: Bioderma sebium cleanser and micelar water, Bioderma SPF 50+, The Ordinary Hialuronic Acid, this moisturizer for the 3 step moisturizing method and Medical grade Retinol 0,01% at night, do you recomend the Bioderma Sebium Hydra? It seems like a good options instead of this one :( btw I really like the texture of the sensibio one
I’ve been getting clogged pores and acne too! So you are not alone. Funny I went back to using good old hemp oil and my skin is so much better x
I simply love the Sensibio light! The best sensitive, combo skin moisturiser I’ve tried. It gives tons of hydration that lasts all day unless other light, oil-free moisturisers. It seals moisture in perfectly (unless you have dry skin) without feeling heavy and greasy.
This is helpful! I was looking into the Vanicream lite lotion but I think I'll try Sensibio light instead. Which hyaluronic acids do you recommend? Vichy 89 seems to get a lot of praise but Olena has featured The Ordinary in her ig
@@melissa7645 Hi Melissa! I don't use a separate HA serum. I have tried various hydrating/treatment serums that have HA in them or a blend of other humectants to hydrate the skin. I like a few all-rounder Korean serums like the Purito Centella Unscented Serum, COSRX centella aqua soothing ampule, and currently sing the Beauty of Joseaon Calm serum which contains green tea and panthenol and HA, glycerine, betaine etc. to plump the skin.
@@melissa7645 yes the sensibio light is my favourite! It's the best for my oily-combination skin. In winter I might need something richer for the night but otherwise perfect for daytime and summer for me.

I actually have SUPER sensitive acne prone skin so I'm trying to follow a very simple no fuss routine but I'm glad you've been able to experiment with different serums. I was watching other product reviews for the Sensibio light and saw you commented on those too so you're the one that convinced me to give it a try haha
@@melissa7645 haha I was being weird commenting on every single you tube video featuring this moisturiser! I hope you will like it! My skin was going through a lot at the time when I started using this Sensibio moisturiser. It somehow strengthened my skin and now it’s not as sensitive as it had been before. I was focusing on hydration, and using Bioderma for weeks before I introduced any other products/actives. Now I can use Azelaic acid 20% for rosacea and breakouts and experiment a bit with sunscreens and serums. :)))
I am just wondering if I need to wash my face with soap after removing impurities/makeup with micellar water, or just rinsing is enough?
Soap is really harsh on skin. After micellar water I wash my face with a gentle gel or foaming cleanser. Bioderma micellar water + sensibio cleanser.
Would you say the DS+ Gel is stronger or gentler than de Sebium Gel?
I think they’re similar, it’s hard to say which one is stronger. 🤷🏼♀️
Im so sad they discontinued the Sensibio Light and replaced it with Sensibio Defensive that contains oils 😢 have you tried the new version?

Okay.. I went to a dermatologist a few months ago for my acne. They recommended ZO Skin Health. So i bought it for a huge amount of monay...and let me tell you.. MY SKIN GOT SO BAD!!🙂 I got deep pimples on my forehead and my cheek acne didnt get better at all. My skin got SOOOOO DRY AND RED LIKE A TOMATO!! I emailed them with pictures on my skin and they basically said ”oh, that's sad it didn't work for you. Sorry, we cant help you🙂” I MEAN WHAT!? Well thanks A LOT!?!? Im trying bioderma cleanser right now. Cross fingers it will help!! Thanks for your amazing videos!!❤️❤️
Well, I have only used it for about 2 weeks, but it feels gentle on my skin, not irritating at all. I like it! But I think it is to early to say if it helps with my acne! But give it a try!🥳
