Your stillness is your greatest form of relationship with God. He will require it in different forms and ways from us. I am literally in a massive "Sitting Still " period of my life. I spend the majority of my time sitting with God and letting Him do what He wants to do in me, through me, and for me. He required me to leave my job and release some other things to do this. It has been 5 years for the "Sitting Still " part of a 15 year process. Girrrlll I have a story to tell! So I am really enjoying these "Spiritual Gems " you are giving cause I can truly relate to them. Keep walking, sharing, and letting God use you. Luv Ya!🙌💖🙏
@@sherylboyce1511 gems on gems as always and I’m thankful! The patience required to be in process for 15 years and still trust that process?! That’s a story in and of itself. Thank you for sharing love youuuu🥰🫶🏾
When I was younger i don’t even remember where I heard “idle time is the devil’s time” but ever since then i always told myself I gotta stay busy. 😩 I can honestly say I have probably never practiced stillness lol and my nana bought me a book about stillness that I haven’t even read yet, come on signs! 🥰💕 “stillness is a form of worship” I’d love to remind myself of that instead of the other quote I had embedded in my head 🥴😂
Yesss it’s crazy how we hear sayings like that and they stick with us sometimes for the worse. I forced myself to be still earlier and relax even though I had a long to do list and I still was trying to justify taking the time for stillness. It’s a constant undoing 🫠
I love the idea of filling the need for noise with the sometimes uncomfortable silence whewww !!
No fr cause let’s push through this discomfort rq 🫠
“I would do it if you will be still .. you keep asking me but then moving” 😅 THATS A WORD and I’m glad you shared it with us
