he's THE most amazing horse the world ever seen. My country lost our champion.
This horse was magnificent. Brings a tear to my eyes. He jumped like an eagle soaring. Amazed at some of the jumps he made. He just was so beautiful to watch. He will always hold a place in my heart. The Secretariat of jumping.
ERIC LAMAZE WAS LUCKY TO HAVE SUCH A BRILLIANT ANIMAL TO RIDE.
HICKSTEAD WAS ONE IN AMILLION.
BUT BEFORE HICKSTEAD,ERIC RODE ANOTHER BRILLIANT HORSE.HISNAME WAS CAGNEY (OR TAGNEY AS MY GRAND DAUGHTER WOULD SAY)
I NEVER SAW HICKSTEAND JUMP LIVE,ONLY ON TELEVISION AND HE WAS AMAZING.
I DID SEE CAGNEY JUMP,HE WAS BRILLIANT.
HICKSTEAD WAS INDEED A WONDER HORSE AND THE WORLD OF SHOW JUMPING IS SADDER BECAUSE OF HIS DEATH..
