Hickstead saved his life, amazing story and true fighter/champ. Hickstead gave his life in return. RIP, so sad to see him go - was he pushed to hard for another who had a point to prove? Energy transfers - Can't help but wonder.
Great video, thanks for uploading - I'm glad I found it (more info on Hickstead & Eric Lamaze) I watched them Live winning the 2008 Olympic Gold "brilliantly" and as well this july 2010 the big Aachen Grand Prix (Germany) one of the Worlds hardest to win. despite breaking his foot on the landing after the “C” element of the triple combination in Round 1. Great horse and rider 5*
what an inspirational story, this makes me want to bust out of my parents house, and literally become an olympic rider jumping on fantastic horses, you know he could do it with no money, I can do it too, this inspires me, I got shivers, and I really really want to have a horse barn, I want to import horses from europe and resell to get some money then join showjumping and eventing for fun damn I love this story, I cant believe this waas before hickstead died
