You have to make a living to take care of your horse and yourself. If they didn’t compete him, they would’ve had to sell him. A lot of things are better than selling him.

Guys. Your house just fell to the ground? He just ended some jumps and his horse falls. He isn’t a medical expert. Plus he finished so why would he still care about winning? I honestly don’t put any blame on Eric as people hating on him is only making him worse. He hasn’t looked for a new horse since Hicksteads death.
This is bullshit,those riders don't give a fuck for their horses,they dont groom them,clean them,spend time with them,all those things do their helpers, while riders only cimb up,ride and climb down, and think only about the prize and fame,those are cold hearted snobs who have others to bond with their horse. I saw it too many times and this is nothing different,If he knew him so well he would see his horse is exausted, and deserved retirement in 15th year,not push him to such competition....he probably bought another horse next morning...
