    You're incorrect.
Although Russian empire had problems with industrialisation and liberal institutes, it was reforming itself during Alexander II and after 1905 revolution.
Also Russian army wasn't pathetic, as it's usually called. Because a weak army will not be able to fight for 3 years on two fronts against three countries, one of which is the most powerful of its time. It is true that the leadership of the army of the Russian Empire made mistakes, but it was still able to win a lot of battles in these difficult conditions.

The Russian tsar did not know how to govern the country as well as the Bolsheviks, the communists. That is why, after Lenin, Russia became as powerful as it had never been before. To destroy the army of Hitler and all of Europe, united under the Nazi flag with a loss ratio of 1: 1.3 soldiers, is incredibly powerful. The Russian Empire could not even come close to doing this. Soviet Russia showed the world how powerful rapid industrialization is.@@aimxdy8680

As long as leaders like Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great, Catherine the Great, Salin were ruling and oppressing the masses things were good. It is only when gentle, naive rulers like Czar Alexander 2 ,Gorbachev came to power things went downhill.

I'd say the only 3 mistakes Nicholas II had ever done was trusting Kuropatkin for defeating the Japanese, being harsh on 1905 Revolutionaries and appointing Rasputin. Aside from that, he knew he wasn't comptent himself and instead, he appointed thoose who were.
Russian industry and railway system wasn't as advanced as Germany nor Britain but it was still a considerable factor in it's mobilization and supplement. In terms of military production, however, they were unprepared for a world scale war and when it started, there was 1 rifle for every 3 Russian soldier, some didn't even had boots or coats. They even suffered some casualities due to the cold in the Caucaus campaign (still not as many as the Turks did).
In terms of the officer and leading cadre, Imperial generals were generally consisting of conservative old men who couldn't adapt to the new ways of warfare. Aleksey Kuropatkin is a very good example of poor leadership, in more tham 20 years of service, he did not gain any significant victories againist Japanese and German armies in 1905, 1915 and 1918. Thoose who adapted the new techologies renowned themselves as precious warriors (such as Brusilov, Yudenich and Kappel) but couldn't turn the tide of the war. So in conclusion, there were both capable and incompetent commanders in the army, but the capable ones weren't sufficient for winning the war.

Actually the Russian soldiers and Czar Nicholas II underestimated the might of the German Empire. They didn't knew that the Germans actually possessed modern weapons. The German artillery was so modern that it could destry Russia's manpower like camphor. And each Russian soldier believed that they would defeat the Germans within Christmas and would return home to celebrate it. So the Czar sent it's troops without much arms, ammunition and training into the battlefield.
Within 2 years the Russian line cracked and the Russian soldiers were chased back in their own land and 1/3rd of its territory was occupied by the Germans.
The fertile food producing areas such as Crimea, Ukraine was occupied by the German army and as there was lack of troops, farmers went to fight and so there was nobody to produce food. There was tremendous shortage of food, fuel and coal and high price of articles so the Russian people cursed the czarist government. And finally Lenin came to their rescue.

The Tsars of Russia did a lot to modernize the country, but the country fought back. One of the brightest minds in history of Russian politics: Pyotr Stolypin was killed by mentally ill anarchist. The best Tsar of 19 century - Alexander II was assassinated by a Polish nationalist, which derailed the whole line of succession by the way, because Nicholas II never had an opportunity to learn from his farther and Alexander III was set for a career in the military, not the government. Also to say that Russian military was absolutely no match for Western Powers is a big stretch, because if it was the case, then how did it bring defeats to Austria-Hungary and the Ottomans while holding the line against Germans up until the revolution. It lacked the newest technology and tactics, sure, but it was not that far behind and did try to catch up. Just before the war was proposed and accepted a plan of rearmament which, ironically, was scheduled to be completed by 1917. Russia died not so much because of how bad it did in the war, majority of the population and most of arable land did not see the enemy, again, before the revolution, but because the leadership was too soft on the internal opposition, which managed to take power 2 times in one year by just taking the capital, after which both governments just rolled over

Majority of Russian weapons of this time, including small arms, was imported from other countries. Even Mosin rifles was produced by Remington, because Russian industry was too weak. Russian weapon engineer Fedorov, autor of the first assault rifle, wrote a book about situation in his industry, and he joined Reds in the Civil War.
Besides, even victory in WWI would not solved main problem in the Russian Empire - question of land between nobility and former serfs and new kulak class. Ironically, victory in WWI would be worst variant for majority of peasants, because victory would be a signal for ruling class, what it is all fine, and system don't need any reforms, like it was after 1812 Patriotic war.

@@HarmonicBastion There is a big gap between Monarchy being abolished and the Russian Civil War, The provisional government took power after the monarchy was abolished. The provisional government continued the war with Germany but was not defeated. In 1917 with the October revolution the Bolsheviks took power and stopped the war. As a result Russia lost it's territories. Months later the Russian Civil War began with Russia gaining a few of it's lost territories and going to war with the White Army and eventually Won the war. So no, Lenin was not a major reason for why the Russian empire collapsed. If Vladimir Lenin didn't stirr up a revolution the Russian empire would have still collapsed.

Its not completely true, yes, Russia didnt modernize itself on time and people were not very happy, but this wasnt direct reason for collapse. Russia built some factories before the war, even the economic situation was improving, but the real reason was revolution, which was definitely caused on purpose by central powers. Also, the Russian army wasn't exactly pathetic, it wasn't that it was too strong, but it wasn't weak either. If there had been no revolution, the Germans would definitely have penetrated less into the interior of Russia and the Russians would have managed to defend themselves better.

Yes if the Russian Empire didn't collapse, it would get Constantinople and Western Thrace, as there was already a treaty designed by the Entente that how would borders be if they won the war. Though Ottomans won in Gallipoli, let's not forget how the mighty Turkish Army was annihilated by Arab tribes and starving Russian soldiers using axes and hatchet.
