I dig Hortiz' vibe. Chad too. Frankly, the biggest thing I feel from this new staff is calm, confident, passionate, been-there-done-that, cohesion.
Literally thinking the same thing… Hortiz is a cool ass cat… confident, collected, methodical… I like how he seems much shorter with the reporters when they try to dig for coaching insight… he knows he’s the gm, he cuts it short cuz that’s not his gig… fucking love it… and the answer about “if there’s a player, any player that we feel will help improve this team, we’re gonna find that player and sign him, regardless of position”… I mean… the conviction… my god…

Kudos to the media team. We used to get interview vids where we couldn't hear the reporters questions, the volume adjustments so we can hear the questions & have the answers at an appropriate level are VERY MICH appreciated.

I’d honestly say 4th behind them and the eagles. Idk how the league let them get basically every guy they wanted but oh welll haha

Thank you for getting Chad Alexander to speak more. I feel like he was a huge part in the Jets getting Garrett Wilson and he had a big hand in scouting and assessing the best WR's for us. Would love to get more from regarding the players scouted and his role on the Front Office. Super underrated guy on this team love the entire staff.

Everyone that wanted Nabers are probably the similar types that wanted Simmons over Herbert. When you have an average or below average QB, you need elite playmakers around him. But when you have a great QB, you don't need elite WRs because a great QB can make everyone around him better by being well protected. Ask NE Brady or Mahomes last season. Sure, Jamar Chase is 100 but if Joe Burrow was protected at least 1-2 more seconds, they probably win that SB. This was a great draft and it's so refreshing to not have that Telesco draft that makes you scratch your head esp in the later rounds. LFG!

I truly believe that chargers getting Joe Alt messed up a lot of teams' draft board. Media may talk about the amount of QBs taken in the first, but for a position that is not valued like the QB, the OTs were flying off the board to the point that by the 2nd round, the OTs left was really not worth a 2nd round.

I believe it's a two-year process because they're going to complete the roster that they want. I don't think it's exactly what they want at the moment.

Here is a fun idea. Let Chad Alexander get the final say next year! I'm sure the previous Notre Dame coaches with the Chargers now and Roman's voices were over his because if they weren't Chad knows how to take a all-star WR (Garrett Wilson) and then CB (Sauce) with his first two picks when he was with the Jets! You ask yourself how could this draft got better? BPA not BPA for Chargers because you would have Nabers, a top end CB, LB and DT over a guy who has never played RT and no true shutdown corner!
