Lovely rendition. Zoltan is an incredible musician who captures Irish spirit in his music--a difficult spirit to catch because of its contradictions: both ancient and modern, sad and happy. Wonderful rendition, as I said.
Simply amazing, as usual you have amazing talent and i am immeasurably happy to have found someone with such talent playing folk music from not just ireland but other places as well if you haven't already you really should make an album--i would buy it without a second thought
thanks for your work Mr Zoltán, you are doing a great work in keeping European tradition alive! We must resist the destruction of our people and culture
There really is just an insane amount of versions of this music. Used a lot of time hearing all I found, but now I'm pretty sure I've found the one I think is the best.
I think that this melody is so beautiful ... so sorrowful but it wants to make you dance at the same time . You are very talented and if you ever come out with CD that includes music like this I would be the first in line to buy !
Ri na sidhe in Irish Gaelic. Beautiful rendition. Ri na sidhe en gaélique irlandais. Très belle version. Ri na sidhe em gaélico irlandês. Uma versão bonita.
@1916dnicolas The Irish Rovers sang this in the 60's or 70's - the first two verses. I have a copy I made from an early vinyl I bought when it first came out. A fair amount of their music is very much in this style (Do you remember "The Unicorn"?).
tadoxlado good point, except the title says Irish. Wtf are you even saying? Do you even geography? even if i was wrong about them being celtic i didnt just randomly bring up hungary for no reason.
It's not uncommon here in Ireland to walk past a pub, and hear traditional music like this blasting at full volume.
I would be
Damn, I have to visit Dublin

Atleast in my opinion from the times I’ve bothered to go down to Dublin
