Wish I could have been a little sassier during this workout, but I developed a headache during the push-ups and had to take it easy for the rest . Thankfully, Steve brought me some advil and it has since done away.

Great full body workout and hilarious discussion! Somehow, I was born wedged between too late for The Monkees and too early for Nelson therefore was stuck with the Partridge Family and The Bay City Rollers. I think I am part of the lost generation.
Whew, that was a good one! The slower movement and focus helps me work on form - I've been noticing a lot more weird imbalances from probably needing more strength in those "little muscles" like the neck, back and front, and wrists, side of the hips etc.

I purchased heavier weights over the weekend and was actually excited to put them to use--felt great! 😂 (I laugh because I was a cardio addict for so many years. Still love it, but cannot believe strength is my preference now). I’m grateful for, and look forward to, each of your workouts. Thank you! ❤

Oregon Dave is very semi back. Melissa and I both did this class. I can do the upper body moves but cannot do the leg moves, I have to do my PT moves. Cardio/Step classes will have to wait. Just great to hear your voice and enthusiasm again. Boy, you can lose strength pretty quick...Month and a half of doing nothing. Wow!!

This is my favorite type of Full Body workout…upper and lower body are separate but in one workout. I guess I’m not a fan of compound exercises because my coordination is awful 😂. Great workout!!!
Vanessa, I thought she was taking about Hansen too. My favorite Nelson is Harry Nilsson! I give Chris and her sister points for fanning over a less than mainstream group. One of the most freeing things I did this year was get rid of ALL my pants and buy new ones, a size larger or elastic waisted. Actually I had two clothing swaps with friends and picked up a bunch of loose fitting (okay, accurately fitting) clothing. I’m not judging myself on size anymore (trying not to) and not making weight loss a goal. There is no way you can do Chris’ workout regimen and not be healthy. I’m going by that. Also low blood pressure, good cholesterol and blood tests for nutrients all normal.
Great class! My 2 favorite moves were the leg curls and the glute bridge while holding the band over our hips! I need to strengthen my hams and glutes! Only did half of the workout bc of lack of time but I'll finish it tomorrow! Ha Love Nelson!
Love the workout, variety of the exercises for upper and lower body! After doing the advanced step workout from Saturday on Wednesday in the after party for first time with the medium level of my Reebok step, doing the full body workout yesterday morning was not my best idea at all 😂

I don't remember ever doing this one, but even if I did it was a good one and I feel so energized. I was laughing too at the conversation and had to look up Nelson when I got to work. I did this on a regular strength day since I cannot do the 9am workouts with work now - but this one was so good! Getting in the routine of doing weights is hard when I really like cardio; but I feel more accomplished with this!
Loved this workout! It used to be for me to lose weight and that was my only reason to work out and now it is has shifted from that to workouts help with managing some of my fibromyalgia pain and helps me release stress. Thank for all you ❤

A "Sassy Nelson"...sounds like a new step move to me! I have been out sick for the past few workouts! Finally back and thought best to start with a strength training sesh, instead of cardio. This was a great workout to come back to! Thanks Chris!
This awesome and very well put together workout (as all of Chris’ are, but I particularly likes alternating between upper/lower body] has a few of my favorites including: hamstrings with the weight between the feet, quads with the resistance bands, as well as the back of the shoulders, which is also with the resistance tubing. For the quad move, I use the small. velcro band with a metal D-ring stitched in the middle-it’s included with the resistance band set (the very set that Chris puts in the description, “Need Bands?”! 😜), I velcro the band around the foot of the working leg, unclip the hable and instead, clip the end of the band to the D-ring that’s ontop of the foot and then, wrap the handled side onto the foot that is staying on the floor. I like this better, I don’t have to fight the handle that always goes to the side of my foot instead of staying centered on the top. I don’t blame Chris for getting a bit sassy, I also get sassy when my family doesn’t follow instructions I have repeatedly given them😀

I do not do prenatal class unfortunately. Definitely ask your doc. Most women, as long as they are healthy can do these and modify ❤️
