I’ve been playing a partial set since the beginning.
3w, Utility Iron, 5i, 7i, 9i, Pw, Sw, and Putter.
I don’t really feel like the clubs hurt my game. I do that all in my own…
Nice, you will learn to control the ball a lot quicker that way
I started .5,7,9,S irons (TWENTY years ago). Didnt talk and cared much gapping back then. And yes maybe it gave some skill, you had to adjust your 9 ti very diffrent strokes.

Played Dukes around 35 years ago immediately after the Masters. Fantastic course. Was so nervous on the 1st tee, hit driver over the bush on the tee straight towards the trees. Was so bad 20 yards. 🤣🤣🤣

BOO, HISS... Here you are, playing with half-sets, and riding around in a cart. Good lord, if you can't bear to carry a half-set then perhaps you should stick to cribbage! And my Gramma always told me how hearty Brits were. Said by a 6-handicaper who plays with 8 clubs every time (twice a week), mostly on a 6400 yard course (definitely not a shorty).
