  • A review of this refreshed subcompact crossover, the Mazda CX-3. Beautiful exterior, beautiful interior, fun drive, and not much room for rear passengers or cargo, Mazda CX3 is a great choice for single people or couples with no kids. Fuel efficient also.

Starting in 2020 the US only has the base "Sport" trim, but since its the only trim available here Mazda gave it many of the features from the higher trims such as the full safety suite, rain sensing wipers and auto headlamps. They only have 16" aluminum wheels, but that actually should improve the ride over the 18" on your test car.

I like the design of this Compact SUV for Mazda to continue in the next iteration but it should be a bit longer and wider to give more space both the second row and luggage compartment. The interior is already good but if they can apply what Mazda put at the 3 with the latest infotainment system and resolution that would be awesome..

Johnny Tampocao this will be addressed when the Cx30 comes out next month...

You can fix a carseat in the back and the child sits hight and has a good view. But there is really no space in the back for a stroller. We uses the CX-3 as our second car besides a CX-5. We will probably upgrade to a CX-8. We will keep the CX-5. I very liked the CX-3 and hopes that the next version is bigger. There is a rumour, that Mazda will introduce a new CX model, soon (based on the new Mazda 3?).

Bonsoir! Quand est-ce que vous diffusez la version Française ? Parce que j'ai la même Mazda cx3 150 CH machine gray. Je serais curieux de savoir ce que vous en pensez. Merci.
Ah , vous auriez compris. Je ne comprends pas l'anglais. Sorry!

Hi Christopher. Very good review. Q. How is it on gas? I had an hybrid car (750-800)km on a tank of gas. Got flooded in Lachine last week on Victoria st. Looking to lease or buy this CX-3. Size is o.k. for me. Just need your opinion on gas economy. Tks.

I leased a 2019 CX3 GS in AWD with luxe & safety pkgs 6mos ago...for me it’s good on gas ave 8-9L/100kms considering brand new but will improve once engine has been broken in. So far so good no reliability issues. I also got a great deal on it when I leased at the time ($2400 off after disc, incentives & 0% rate)! If size is not an issue then this is a good choice...I hate CVTs so CHR and HRV were out of the running...Kona was the other closest choice.
