Ling is actually stable now. Before 1.37, I was always supporting the ming to make him survive as long as possible
In my new Mughal game, I did nothing and just let him do whatever. He got the nomadic frontier for mor than 30 years and survived!! then got it a second time. Now in 1650, Ming is 5th GP pass reforms regularely and has 400k troops. I don't even want to kill him. This is the first time AI is managing Ming well.
Btw the reason why Ming was in the disaster for 30 years was because I was allied with the Oirats...

I just realized, whu did the change the name of Chagatai to Moghulistan?
It's more historically accurate; the Chagatai Khanate progressively lost land to the Timurids from the mid 1300s, and by the mid-1400s a new khanate took over in the Moghulistan region.
Edit: that new khanate were also Chagatai, so some people also called it the 'Eastern Chagatai Khanate,' but yeah.
