Civilian employees who work at military bases/facilities &/or the Veterans Administration hospitals have to go through significant background screening, fingerprinting, & credit checks before being able to be hired. Our elected members of government, all the way up to the President, should be subjected to the same (if not more stringent) screening before they are allowed to hold a position in our government.

MTG is House of Representative, not Senate. Georgia has two amazing senators that have been workhorses for Georgia: Ossoff (Jewish) and Warnock (Black). In fact, MTG's District 14 relies on these two Senators to pass legislation for their benefit as MTG worked on ZERO legislation for her District 14. MTG neither sponsored nor co-sponsored one single piece of legislation and was removed from her committee duties assigned for encouraging violence against Congress members and promoting Qanon conspiracies. The District 14 literally cannot vote in a Democrat unless Republicans switch their vote.
GA District 14 was gerrymandered by GOP Gov Kemp so heavily to vote in a Trumpist that the district looks like a weird puzzle piece. So, thank GA Gov Kemp who also wrote the voter suppression laws that the RED states have copied. Democrat Marcus Flowers, a war veteran with a history committed to community service, lost to GOP MTG even though he had donations pouring in nationwide. Gov Kemp ensured a Trumpist win.
