Love your Pomegranate series, all of them. I’m always learning another thing or two. Appreciate you, Ian.
Cheers bro :)
Tree sure did burst into growth mid-summer. Amazing how quick branches thicken at that point. Your pruning job looks great. So much detail in a small pot!
Cheers Sue, yeah its an aggressive one for sure!
Excellent tree. Loved to see the structure underneath after all that pruning.
Cheers bro, I hope your doing well :)
Lovely shape on that one Ian!
Cheers bro
Ive made the mistake of a late summer pruning. Shit for energy come spring compared to unpruned. I love this tree Broski. Fast development. Cheers 😎🍺🍺
yeah exactly you have all that to consider too, let alone its health over winter. slow and steady wins the race ...apparently lol cheers bro
Love the pomegranate Ian. And love the progression style videos! Ive been switching to your method on my videos as well. Cheers
Cheers bro :)
My pomogranate inspired by you is now 1.5 years old

Foistski 😊
Have you thought about trying a hydrangea bonsai?
no, mainly as I have no space for any more trees lol maybe one day
Do you expect any fruits in any of the upcoming years?
Yes, but no. It has produced 1 flower in the past, but for some reason it didn't last long. so it is old enough now to flower/fruit ... the issue is i prune it often so its not really going to get the chance to develop. If i just left it alone all year it would probably fruit
