I LOVE ESO but it's such a shame, I literally feel like I can't play it unless I'm willing to throw $20/month away for it which adds up a ton especially when I'm in school or have periods of unemployment. It's such a fun game to play and I'd play it way more often if not for the fact that the crafting bag is literally unplayable without. If they made it purchaseable with crowns, that'd be the greatest thing ever and although they may lose subscribers, their player count overall would increase.
I agree that's why I spent so much time talking about the "optional" sub. I love this game so much but it sucks you have to pay up if you want to truly enjoy the game.
that's your problem, man? I haven't paid eso+ in YEARS. Just buy all DLCs one time purchase, all chapters, etc, and TRADE. Craft bag isn't necessary because you'll just trade stuff worth 100g+ away on a guild trader and just buy small stuff as you need it.
I might come off as biased cuz I really love this game and have been playing it for 10 years, but ESO is the best MMO ever made. I started with Skyrim, prior to which I had somehow managed to never hear of Elder Scrolls before. But I loved that game so much and when I heard an MMO version of it was in production, I was sold. I was already playing WoW at the time so MMOs was right up my alley. I havn't stopped playing ever since. Is it perfect? No, there are a few things they could do better. But overall, I'm enjoying this game immensly, more then WoW, which I isn't even playing anymore after 20 years.
I actually find the game really immersive and like the combat but I know a lot of people don't like the combat. I only wish that the gear progression was better. The level scaling is not my favorite thing.
Bro talks about how you want to see payers everywhere in MMO’s then proceeds to say he only plays solo and never will play with anyone…. Brother the point of an mmo is to play with people and do larger amounts party content and to meet people and make friends 😂😂
I'm not great with meeting new people and my social anxiety makes it hard for me to play in groups feeling like I could be holding it back or not holding up my part of the game so I play mmos for the RPG they offer and just play the solo content. I do see why that seems strange but there's tons of people who play mmos for the RPG and the immersive feeling of seeing other players roaming through the world.
How is the endgame? WoW is really good now but the endgame being constantly the same destroys the game. Mythic + season with a few dungeouns and 1 raid in 4 diffrent modes. In the old days would have 3-4 diffrent raids with 1 difficulty mode but varying in difficulty anyway with best loot in the hardest raids. Gives alot more variation
I play mainly solo but there is trials "raids" public dungeons and regular 4 man dungeons, delves but the main draw is chasing best in slot gear sets and collections. Finding the locations in each area to craft some of those gear sets you have end game trading and crafting. There's a lot to do in the endgame that I'm glossing over. I can't really compare wow for you because I've only got 2 hours of playtime in wow to which I really wanna give it a shot.
@ yee i maxed out most of my classes in old republic gear wise and farmed every dungeon and pvp award. Iv also always had an on and off relationship with eso but the golden road bundle was on sale on xbox game pass for 28 bucks so i had to grab it lol
I play it off and on since launch. I always quit because i hate the combat, the whole no skill and just learn rotations of skills thing completely ruins it for me
Eso is changing in 2025 there will be no more chapters to buy zos is doing seasonal content like destiny 2 so we are all guessing $20-$30 seasonal battle passes i dont like games with seasons and paying for seasonal battle passes. if i want to play a mmo with seasons ill the the top mmo world of warcraft.
i personally dont like hyper realistic games, every trailer looks the same cos its real looking. mario and among us arent hyper realistic but look great! makes u feel like ur playing a game and u gotta use some of ur imagination i dont mind skyrims bad quality graphics, if anything it adds to the immersion
The funny thing to me is I had never heard the term DEI until this year, and now I see it everywhere anytime there's someone gay, a woman, or a non white character as a protagonist. Is this yet another term like "woke" that nobody can actually truly define without just outing themselves as hateful or bigoted for no real reason?

Me too I really love this game I have hundreds of hours in this game between console and PC. PC I have about 450 hours mostly over the last 2 years.
same here but interstingly , apart from lore , it was the worst mmo for me , doesnt the gameplay and lack of immersion ruin you the game ?
I actually find the game really immersive and like the combat but I know a lot of people don't like the combat. I only wish that the gear progression was better. The level scaling is not my favorite thing.
@@zephyrexroy5522 Not really, I'm enjoying the gameplay, and there are plenty of immersion in this game.

I just bought the golden road deluxe edition
It's a fantastic game hope you enjoy it!
@ i appreciate it. Until they bring the old republic and wow to the xbox eso is really the only mmo on xbox worth playing .
I haven't played wow properly but old republic is pretty fire. I do agree there isn't many console MMO to choose from.

I can see how that can be bothersome. I like the combat personally but I do see the flaws in it.
@ other than that and how easy they made everything i love pretty much everything else

I'd love to play it if the combat wasnt the worst in any game ever
Its definatly a love it or hate it type of thing for sure.
Sadly i cant enjoy the Bad graphics anymore .
What do you mean bad graphics? The graphics are amazing.
i personally dont like hyper realistic games, every trailer looks the same cos its real looking. mario and among us arent hyper realistic but look great! makes u feel like ur playing a game and u gotta use some of ur imagination

Lots of good, lots of bad… tipping point for me is DEI politics, leave that shite outta games.

No its not... and its not about bad graphics or mechanics its just a shit tier mmo with a good name.
