Hi Frederique! Wonderful video…you said it best “less is more”. Applying foundation with clean fingers is the only way to go for me. The warmth of your fingers helps to blend the product..and you don’t waste it in a sponge or brush. Many years ago a makeup expert said “skin on skin” is the best application. So fabulous to see Oscar…hugs to both of you. lol xxx

I’ve never worn foundation, maybe the (literal) tiniest amount of concealer, been using cream blushes and stains- for lips as well- for decades now, brows, and a tiny bit of mascara.
But this isn’t new to those who live in a sub tropical or tropical climate.
80% of the time, it’s brows & stained cheeks!

Truthfully, you look just as vivacious and gorgeous without makeup. I know that it isn't considered as polished looking to not wear makeup, but dang woman, you're just freaking beautiful! By the way, Ive learned a lot about applying makeup from you and I thank you...you never look over done. But most days I just wear tinted sunblock with mascara because I feel my skin looks so aged when I put on foundation. Wish I could master that. My only "trick" with makeup is using RMS "un-coverup" on any splotches because it blends so beautifully with the skin and is almost undetectable with the exception of the dewey finish. Love you, mama ✌🏼

Great video Frederique. I mix a serum with foundation and blend really well. Then eyelash curler, and a great mascara. Also, lipstick is a fantastic part of makeup. I dab the same colour from my lips, and use as a cheek stain. Done! xx

TERRIFIC ideas!! Thank you so much for the eye enhancement tips and advice on the bronzer -- with summer coming soon, I plan to start developing a lovely brush-on "glow" using your suggestions!
I'm curious why you're not supposed to apply foundation with your fingers. I stopped using a brush or blender for awhile now and find using my fingers so much better from a hygiene point of view and also as you mentioned, takes less for more usage. Brushes and blenders keep bacteria and you need to clean them after application, not mentioning having to store them somewhere clean. It's such a huge hassle. With clean fingers, you literally work with a sanitised tool. I stop having breakouts once I stopped using these artificial tools. Less cost, wastage and clutter for more!

Btw.. your hands/nails are far dirtier than any makeup tool💯
I agree and the warmth of your fingertips actually helps spread the foundation. If your stretching your skin applying foundation, then your too aggressive. Your basically sliding it over your skin.
I found that my fingertips work best and if there is any un evenness then I spray a clean beauty sponge with a little setting spray and lightly dab the areas.

I never remember which lipstick I’m using in my videos this is why I created a full video about my lipsticks check in my beauty library x
They are great over the counter products that give immediate results for fading sun pigmentation. I use L'Oreal Revitalift Laser Renew Anti Ageing Glycolic Peel Pads. 9.5% glycolic acid. You can use these frequently and it really makes a difference to freckles and sun spots. Recommended by dermatologists.

After trying all types of brush, sponge for foundation I've gone back to applying with fingers as find it warms the product up more and I just get a better finish. Must try that Lancome foundation, it looks lovely x

I love all your videos and i have you to thank for helping me realize my true style...in my late teenage years i was very minimal with my wardrobe and was always drawn to a french classic but simple style, but at the time, i didnt know it was such a thing! Lol...
Thanks to you i have now been going back to that classic and natural clothing and makeup looks and i feel so good about it! I have gotten rid of so much clothes that i bought because of trends but never wore because i wasn't comfortable in them. I am now 45 and taking better care of myself than i did for years. Me too. I always use my fingers cause sponges and brushes waste so much product. Don’t like the idea of concealer on the whole face. It’s only for dark circles and a few spots. I’d love to know what lovely lipstick you’re wearing. So pretty on you.
