I just ordered the rosegold san martin. should arrive monday or so, currently no videos online whatsoever. but it is almost one on one homage of Tudor black bay release this year, which is an amazing watch . we'll see how good this one is.
I took delivery of a Watchdives WD7922 3 days ago and I am delighted with it. I went for the matt black bezel with the red marker at 12o'clock. Watchdives refer to it as "yellow markers" by which I thought this is what they called the stunning gilt numerals on the bezel but, No, the lume has quite a greenish/yellow tint to it. It was slightly disturbing at first glance but I absolutely love the case size, dial design and lume of this watch. I have 3 other watches with the VH31 movement and they all have a lot of slop/slack/lash when setting but this one does not which makes accurate setting a breeze compared to the other 3. Honestly, the only slight negative is the strap. It is good enough but I would have preferred less taper and would gladly have paid extra for a faux rivet one. If Watchdives ever offers a version with a rivet bracelet I hope they remember to offer it as an accessory to those who have already bought the watch. Enjoy your new watches and I look forward to hearing your opinion of them.
I own the Watchdives WD7922 and it has proven to be incredible value. The vintage look & feel + high quality fit finish and materials + sweeping quartz movement have made this my favourite watch in my collection of 15 including genuine Omega and Tudor. Only time will tell if this watch holds up in the long run.
I purchased a PX1683 (MM300 homage) from Proxima, and experienced similar customer service. IMHO they produce outstanding watches. Some really nice watches here, and I'm looking forward to your upcoming reviews 👍
My San Martin sn0129gc just arrived this week and I couldn’t be happier, I just wish it had a different style bracelet than the plain 3 link oyster style.
They sell their stand alone Jubilee bracelet with screw links and the on the fly adjustment clasp for $70. I checked the listing and it fits the sn0109. I’m going to pick up the sn0109 and the jubilee bracelet
Nice Top 10! (Or 9 😉). The Cronos at #2 has been in the collection for 3 weeks now for the exact same GS homage reasons you mentioned. It is a very very fine watch. Also just arriving was the SM GMT with aventurine dial,, and it too is phenomenal.
They proxima failed without having a color matched date window! I prefer no date for the dial symmetry. If you have a date window it shouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb!
Is it just me ?? I really don't like red, light blue, orange or green dials.Only black dark blue or occasionally white dials, preferably without any numbers on the dail.Also can we start a movement to make all 20mm bracelets taper down to 16mm .Thanks for the review

I've been wearing that red dial San Martin SN0129 for a couple of weeks now. It's definitely the best watch I own. The three link bracelet is a bit plain but the on the go adjustable clasp is so good that every other clasp is a bit annoying now. I really enjoy a watch with a perfect fit. They have a new bracelet with middle links that are polished on the top sides (on the SN130 I believe) , I think it would look brilliant on this watch. Excellent selection once again, though I must admit I'm kinda curious now about which watch didn't make the cut. 😂

Hi I bought the CRONOS in Black, I was after a good value beater GMT in the Explorer 2 style but a bit different. I would say for what I paid it is excellent quality and finished very well. The timekeeping has been excellent which is important. The negatives would be the black dial wave pattern never really shows through however in the sunlight it can look like the glass has shattered at certain angles, this is not an issue 99 percent of the time. Also the GMT hand is slightly out of alignment on the hour. I paid £145 for it and would say it is worth every penny but if your not too fussed about dial colours maybe plump for the silver.
Hi Al, found the San Martin in Avocado Green, which I'd been after for months as I wasn't into AliExpress when it first came out. I believe, other RUclips vlogers who also vlog about watches have suggested this was a limited edition. So, I'm well made up. Also, as an avid bonus collector I only paid £183.41 which I hope you agree is a bargain.
Another great review! I can also confirm the excellent customer service from the Proxima folks. I recently ordered their PX1700-2BN which also has that Ice Flower dial and they sent me a photo of my actual watch right after I ordered. It is a wonderful watch and has had its share of compliments just in the few days I have been wearing it. I also got that same San Martin - the SN 0129-GC. The red dial is fantastic! Of note, I ordered the San Martin two days before the Proxima, yet the Proxima was in country (US) before the San Martin even began its shipping process. Of course I eventually received it, but what a time difference. As it was my first San Martin, I hope that was just a fluke(?). I know they have a solid reputation and I am more than happy with the quality of my watch, but compared to every other seller on Ali, they have been the slowest to process and ship. Looking forward to your reviews. May Karma always smile on you!

I just have a San Martin (SN0138) BB54. I'm a little disappointed because the watch has sharp edges on the bracelet which makes it uncomfortable. Was it bad luck or is it general in this brand?
Sorry to hear that. I have read other comments that are similar. In my own experience, I've received a few bracelets from them that were a bit "edgy" but nothing sharp enough to cause injury or discomfort. Thanks for watching 👍👍
