One Song Sing does Pompeii by Bastille

On a wintery day in June 2024 we had action in the Pearson St Mall in Charlestown. 200 or so folk learned Pompeii with thanks to Lake Macquarie City Council and the Lake Macquarie Dobell Festival.
Jane Jelbart tweaked a choral arrangement for a bunch of professional shower singers. Jane lead the mids, Ruth McCrae lead the sopranos and Mark Jackson lead the eh ohs. John Wallace, Robbie Long and Ben Lambert made up the backing band, dubbed 'The Pisstakes' for their ever so slightly distracting assing about.
