- The Acolyte has proven beyond any doubt at all that Star Wars has NO Hope. No real future, no chance of revival.
Let me take you back through the history of the franchise. From a time when we LOVED the Star Wars franchise, through those awkward prequel years and sadly, yes, even covering Disney's desecration of the franchise right up until The Acolyte.

One thing Sequels have shown is that Star Wars fandom is a cesspit and has been that way since at least the Prequel era.
I watched Acolyte episodes 1-3. I truly regret that. At the same time, if I ever have trouble sleeping...

Andor season 2 for me will be the last of Star Wars I’ll watch. It’ll be a fitting end anyway, where it all began. But no matter what, it hasn’t changed my love for Star Wars. The original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, the clone wars, rebels, the Lucas arts games, Thrawn books, rouge one, Andor, I think I’m content. And I feel much better not engaging in online discussions.
One of the few silver linings. We'll always have the old stuff. Keep those physical copies!

Killing off Luke Skywalker was a dumbest idea ever who the hell agreed to it? Yeah let’s keep the return of the Jedi the happy ending of Star Wars because the Disney trilogy is just depressing mess.
Mark Hamill is in his 70s. He can't do Luke forever. You know what else is a depressing mess? The hardcore fans.
@@BlueHooloovoo That a lie they could have use a stunt man to do Luke actions similar what they do to Christopher Lee as Dooku and you said that even though they still use Leia in the next movie even though Carrie fisher is already dead.
@@jaieregilmore971 Just like Han Solo being defined by Harrison Ford, Luke is defined by Mark Hamill. No stunt double or different actor is going to be accepted as the real deal, except maybe in animated form.
