Chewie is the most badass hero we've seen in Star Wars on the big screen. He doesn't use the Force. He uses a bow. A bow.

There is some raw footage out there where Chewie has some dialog, for example when Ben leaves to disable the tractor beam... Chewie: "That old man is crazy." Han: "You said it Chewie. Where'd you dig up that old fossil?"
I dont think it would be awkward there would be people talking, giving speeches, the crowd cheering. Its awkward here because no one is saying anything because this scene was edited with john williams score in mind

The original sound recording had lot more noises and was way worse quality, and Peter Mayhew's voice wasn't as clear (he wore a mask) as in this video either. This is a made up dub showing how it could've sounded and felt like for the actors on the set when they filmed this scene.

If you write a scene with music in mind, and have that scene follow the music in the same way that a music video follows music, taking away the music is going to ruin the scene. Music is a powerful tool but it isn't essential.

Reminds me of my high school graduation. They were handing out minor awards no one really cares about and making students come up to the stage to receive them. They were calling them up by group depending on the award you won. However since I was the only one who won one particular award, I had to walk across the graduation hall alone and in dead silence.

I turned the volume all the way up on my phone cause I couldn't hear anything. Now my roommates are awake at 4 am.
Reminds me of my high school graduation. They were handing out minor awards no one really cares about and making students come up to the stage to receive them. They were calling them up by group depending on the award you won. However since I was the only one who won one particular award, I had to walk across the graduation hall alone and in dead silence.
Seeing R2 waddle around like a can being dragged on a string to the end of a car makes this whole scene
The smiling lip noises were the icing on the cake of awkwardness.

Awesome Sound FX work! And well done on using The Planets at the beginning. That was one of the sources of inspiration for the score by John Williams :P
At the beginning, the music was "Jupiter" from Gustav Holst, a composer whose work "The Planets" inspired Williams' soundtrack for Star Wars.
Some of it was inspired by Holst, the rest was inspired by Wagner, especially the leitmotif elements of the score.

Actually, it was played by the London Symphony, not the Philharmonic. Different orchestras.
Just for information: the piece of music in the beginning of the video is the ending part of “Jupiter” by Gustav Holst. Listen to that, plus his “Mars” (or the whole Planets suite) + Dukas’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and you’ll understand John Williams.
