    Oh my god, I’d focused on learning kire stuff and general movement and game flow before continuing with this video, but man is that negative edge guard cancel going to be a game changer! For two ~10 minute videos these have helped me more than anything else because of how descriptive but concise they are, so thanks again!

      @FGCZetta  3 года назад

      No problem! I'm glad they're helping!
      I'd recommend learning jD frc and tk yozansen as a soon as possible too!
      The negative edge stuff is before it in the video moreso because it's easier, but I don't think it's as useful as the other sections.

    I may not play guilty gear since I play fighting games on my phone, I love the vibe of this video where I feel like I'm in a class learning about a character lol, like in a auditorium in a college class or something.

      I'm sorry to hear that! It's definitely tough sometimes, but I will say that every character in the cast gets difficult at a high level. It may not be as front-and-center as instant overhead Yozansen though, so point taken!
      +R is just a hard game! The good news about that is that every other player/character has to deal with it too.

    good job on the format of this video guide. it really helps deliver your ideas to viewers. my only suggestion is to loop the video samples you use at 4:02 for example once or twice instead of playing it once and freezing it for several seconds.

  • @MilkyCao

    bit late but i wanna note. best hitbox method (not keyboard) for tk yzs would be 6239 because you don't have to release down to get it, the socd cleaning in nearly all all buttons controller (the only exception being those who use non standard socd cleaning) prioritizes up inputs over down, so all the inputs after the initial 6 come out as fast as humanly possible since you don't have to remove your fingers after that point.

    New to AC+R and I'm gonna try and apply these tomorrow when I lab again. I'm curious though how do people do her guard cancel specials mid-combos because I don't seem to see anyone mention how to do that (unless that's like an EX Baiken thing or whatever)

    • @FGCZetta
      @FGCZetta  2 года назад +2

      Suzuran (63214k) is cancellable into guard cancels with normal Baiken. You just have to input 63214k412p, for instance.

    • @FGCZetta

      It can take a while to learn! Don't spend too much time on any given day. 5 to 15 minutes a day for a couple of weeks, and you'll get it down!

  • @BknMoonStudios

    God, Baiken is so cool and I want to learn her, but I'm so _ASS_ at doing even the most basic of combos. (I'm a platform fighter player. Mainly play Smash Ultimate and Brawlhalla.)
    I really want to get decent with her but every time I go online I get matched up with a far better player and I get DESTROYED.
    Any tips for an ultra noob like me?

    • @snawbird3587
      @snawbird3587 3 года назад +3

      Before you start learning combos try to learn the basic neutral game of a character. Really good combos come from knowing the basic fundamentals of the character first and being consistent enough to string them all together in a meaningful way. So first try to train yourself to do all her moves and techs. Then try to find places for them within the neutral to get yourself to the point where you are getting combo start opportunities. Once you get there you should have enough execution and know-how to start doing the crazy combos. It's a journey and it's not going to be fast especially with an older game like this. Try to have fun with it, even when you lose try to notice something that might have left you open in your previous match and solve the problems.

    • @snawbird3587
      @snawbird3587 3 года назад +3

      Having a good defense helps too more than you'd know. But that comes with actual matchup knowledge so that's just something you gotta build over time.

    What move/input is that at 3:26 which starts at the 8th hit in your combo? The behind the head spinner thing? I know the hcb 412p is close but it doesn’t spin like that.
    I’m brand new to this game :)

    • @FGCZetta
      @FGCZetta  3 года назад

      You got it right. It's suzuran (63214k) cancelled into zakuro (412p). It only hits antiair.
      Also, if you're new, be sure to check out the dustloop combo section:
