Good stuff, happy to hear that the rollback beta will be prolonged indefinitely, this will give player more motivation to practice. I've started just two weeks ago so I'll be waiting your character specific guides with trepidation :) Hope to see Millia soon ^^
I'll assume you're talking about Numpad Notation, since I say "forward" soon after that timestamp. So here's an explanation for why I didn't say "six." I do use Numpad Notation myself, but not in this video. I start using Numpad Notation in the character tutorials ("ABA Combos & Mixups"). Also, in the description of that video, I link to my Numpad Notation guide, since I doubt I'll make a RUclips video on it soon. Here's that same link, if you need it: ruclips.net/user/redirect?v=23M24XwKUAY&event=video_description&q=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fdocument%2Fd%2F1QHGQA-kSDtDBJ_vWF7MfpjRJGdyLHQ6f38o_raDjJ5Q%2Fedit%3Fusp%3Dsharing&redir_token=QUFFLUhqbXFTZGVHNHNVaG10UWFIYm5SVWlMWXdDYzAyd3xBQ3Jtc0tuR0sySmtGNHVKZGh4VVY5ODY3XzU0UkpZMTJlLTNTdV9QdXhhcFByR2Z5aFlpd3g3NGNycEo4cEdhUTIyQTFkbHVTWUZzUHRFdVVJTldrTDBBQ0JKVXE3TEc5NGNQTWx3WVo0YTBQSG1xbGZNT3pNWQ%3D%3D Basically, I didn't want to bombard new players with numbers, since they seem to be a negative stimulus, even if Numpad Notation has no actual math involved. If they don't enjoy the game at a basic level, then they don't need to know numpad notation; if they do enjoy the game for its basic mechanics, then they'll be willing to learn Numpad Notation. For basic inputs, it's totally fine to say "forward" and "down," but it's definitely more efficient to start using numpad notation when dealing with longer combos and attack strings, or when reading, instead of watching videos. It also crosses language barriers.
@@kingglue2851 Ah, I see. In later videos, I actually use a different audio filter, so hopefully that doesn't happen as frequently. There's nothing I can really do about how hopelessly stuttery and slurry I am, though.
They're only possible while you're blocking something, and while you have enough meter. The input is forward plus any two attack buttons (for example, P + K). This can be a bit tricky, since you hold BACK to block, and then FORWARD to Dead Angle during the blockstun animation.
"And the game has no tutorial because.......?" because it's too easy to learn and nobody needs one. It's basically like what Risk is to Axis and Allies. Might as well learn a standard fighter game instead. But if you are new and casual and can't read well yet this is great for you, as understandably there's nothing but noobs playing it online you'll be able to play against easy opponents. Once you dominate here then you'll be good enough to at least start training in a normal fighting game. I get that you are all special needs cases for needing a tutorial like this laying out such basic stuff like "running makes u walk faster", but don't worry you'll fit in fine and there's nothing to be embarrassed about, some people need training wheels on their bicycles for many many many years before they feel comfortable with 'trying to ride a bike'. Most people of course just try to ride a bike on the first go, but we are all unique. And don't worry the game is still active even after 20 years cause the toddlers of the last generation of special needs scrummaged it out of their dad's drawer. If nothing else you are likely to be fighting a special needs toddler online so you as their senior should have plenty of unfair advantages, and the game should always have some generation of special needs persons for you to play with as these types, like yourself, have a habit of evolving quite slowly....it is quite ideal as a gaming community to have a slow evolving base like this. Thankyou to counselor Moq for putting on this seminar of videos, it was very thoughtful of him to create this help resource for those among us who are found usually to be left behind.
you've done a very good job with making explanations easily digestible, thank you \o/
Thank you! I'm just about done with the next one. You'll have to wait and see what it's about.
This dude breaks down Guilty Gear and has Mio in his overlay. Respect.
Where is Mio-chan.
I don't see Mio-chan.
You don't either.
Oh snap, you're right. Guess I was seeing things.
missed info: Instant Kill mode drains your health in addition, when there is no tension stored up
I just start playing this on my switch. Thank you so much bro. The break downs is the best part. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The sound of the buttons plinking is quite relaxing.

@Moqlnkn ohhh, I heard ,,four" not ,,forward". Well, my bad

The video is great but i can’t do Dead angle attacks for some reason any help?
