Never before have I intentionally watched an ad. This is how its done.
Thanks for watching. 😁
Lol. Wow, is this really an ad? I thought it was just pure entertainment.
Internet comment etiquette.
Kelsey is such a talented bass player. Really knows how to lock it in. His lines in Malibu are unreal
I've been scrolling through the comments looking for someone talking about him! So good!
This series is the greatest piece of media ever made
we appreciate that 🙏
Red Panda Music tgnn
I'm a cinematographer and a drummer and I wanna know who's the genius behind this. This is the greatest work of art ever fucking made.
Jas Bataille Anderson Paak
Damn, I love Paak voice but as a drummer I must admit that he is one of the most precise and tight drummers I have ever heard. This guy can keep a tight groove for ages while singing like a badass.
k
...tight....yeah right....that rim shot is so sloppy it made the misses climax.
@@Justbase lmao I agree. Man could not stay on the 3 in this one
dudes hi hat and cymbals were on point but good lord i never heard the timing of a rimshot piss me off this much since i first started playing lmao
I think the timing of the rim shot is wanted, it's like playing "drunk" or J Dilla style
“Did you write that?”...”yeah”...”you did not“ XD

when the bass comes in is straight killer yes lawddd
Those rimshots are so before the beat! Ive heard it before in his drumming. Amazing it works. Listen to the 2nd song on that tiny desk thing.
Those rim shots sound like they're being played by a drunk toddler but I'm here for it
Dilla baby
Look up drunk drums. It will make sense
@@AB-tn4os it can be intentional and still sound bad
@@matthewkraus4769 it sounds good or bad depending on if its what the music calls for imo
It’s 101% intentional!!! This guy will outplay you I promise!!! 🔥
"Did you write that?... you did not."
This needs a full season.
It's a masterpiece!
It's Le'Star by Shafiq Husayn! Pretty sure Kelsey did actually write that bassline lol. This cover is damn dope though.
Pro-mark, please keep making shit like this, I am begging you, this is just great
Thank you 🙏
No one even begs anymore
reminds me of dem old bernard purdie vids 😂
The vibe is so groovy and chill gotta love it💯💯💯💯
Although I've seen it plenty of times, whenever I see this pop up I undoubtedly watch it
Lmao! I thought it was picture at the credits, till you zoomed in and I saw the plant moving in the back. 😂
8Bit Bacon Bits Waaaaaaahhhhhhahahahaha I Laughed my ass off focusing on this detail
I am not living right. How can this masterpiece have existed for 3 months without my knowledge? I am not cool, but with .Paak 2 Basics and these rad promark drumsticks there may be hope for me yet.

How did I get to this? I just was met him in Silk Sonic but I have no regrets. He's a killer drummer and he is an excellent Singer too
Welcome to the crew
During quarantine this is nice. Wish I could have some friends over and jam
I died when he said "Yes Lord" in that weird way😂😂😂😂
That intro is the dopest intro I've seen on RUclips. Great vid guys 👏
Anderson is such a rare talent. He will be here for eons trust in that.
Playing with my pens at my desk.

These sticks are hard enough to keep you up all night long, which is very important on the stage, and also in bed.
As soon as he started the kick, I knew that bass was bring something 🔥
Dudes, I feel it's a tribute to Bernard Purdie's videos, wicked stuff! Gotta love it

"You did not"
Lmaoo
AP WITH THE BERNARD PURDIE VIBE!!!!!
ahh the wonders that bass provide
Maaaaan I've been playing drums for a few years and I feel like I learned them backwards. I struggle with basic things like my right arm not getting tired when I play the hi-hat like that. I try to do the moeller method, but I'm just missing something with my wrist motion where I can keep doing that without tensing up or tiring myself out...
Alexander Technique courses could be of use to ya . KEEP RocKin'
dude i had the same problem for years. try this: turn the wrist of the hand playing the hihat a little in some direction. play with the position while playing 16th notes. and also try changing the position of ur thumb and/or indexfinger (the one next to everyones thumbs usually). if that aint no help: go to the gym or pornhub. get that arm muscled. play loud....very loud and hard metall.
te amo
This was great!! Lol
Kelseys got some slick bass lines
So fuckin smooth
Leave the door open , perfect
Not feeling the distracting early snare
I thought it was just me?
(you mean the flam?)
@@thedepartmentoffunk3393 no. I mean the full on early backbeat.
@@jcarter9510 oh ok got you
Are you saying thats not music?
its amazing not one comment about the obvious out of time drumming. image is truly everything in music prove me wrong.
James brown’s voice was always cracking. That would be considered improper too.
@@raymonds7492 wtf does that have to do with what I wrote?
Mom, the youtube algorithm's doing its thing again!
Jajaj and now again!
