This is exactly what I was looking for! Finally space for the Carpe Iter Pad. I want, no, I MUST have it. Did YOU order it directly from the 7Solid website? Was the processing and delivery time OK? Thanks for the great video, regards, Marco
It takes time as they seam to make them as they get orders. It was approximately 5 weeks for mine to be made and delivered. It’s a great product on its own, but having ABS memory and apparently speedo correction built in makes it even better. I’m in Canada and ordered it direct. Pretty sure that’s the only way.
The point is to have more room for better tech. The tablet now sits further down in the “cockpit”. Also the new display has ABS memory built in. An extremely welcomed feature.
To allow for the Thork tablet to sit deeper into the dash area without covering the OEM dash. Esthetically it looks much better and it’s also a little less vulnerable in tip overs. It also features ABS memory which is amazing.
@@axxamitcouldn’t care less about the weight savings. It was more for those who get caught up in what shit weighs. I likely have the heaviest T7 around.
Maybe a time for Yamaha to make a good wide TFT display on the Tenere???? it's like CanAm who hold on to the damn old LCD display even in 2024 ? LOL I will never buy anyting who not have a TFT display today!
The 2024s do have TFT displays along with phone connectivity. The good thing is the Thork tablet is connected to the OBD port and displays all the data the bike spits out.
Easy to do for sure. That’s another reason for the video. Proof of what it was. I’m going to see if I can reset it again. I would hope it’s a one time operation that the device allows.
The information contained in the OEM display is the same on the slim display. Getting rid of the OEM display provides valuable space for navigation devices. Now I can watch RUclips videos on how to ride while I ride. Or when I lay the bike down on the trails I can Netflix and chill.
Very clean look of the tower. Love it 👍🏻
Well done. I enjoy modding my T7 as well. I like to test different options out from time to time. Essentially using it as a modular platform.
Good video👍,great explanation. A very good way to keep the cockpit clean😊
Thank you! 👍
Ideal for the likes of those Portuguese kits that allow you to dump the fairings...1980's retro style!
Can you do a video on an overview of your T7 and what you have done to it to day. Cheers.
Definitely. I did one a while back but I’ll do another one calling out my favorite farkles.
looking good

Looks interesting
You say ‘Go ahead’ a lot !
I’m going to go ahead and say thanks for watching. Funny what happens when you’re in front of a camera. I’m still trying to work on all the ums haha.
Hey Paul it's Darwin from WYO BDR this September. Hope all is well.
Awesome to hear from you. We met at the gas station right? You were riding with your dad?
Very Good upgrade! will the bike pass inspection with this new display?
Where I am we don’t have inspections after the bike is initially registered.
Nice and clear video..can you send me a link to this display
Thank you. www.7solid.it/prodotti/t7-slim-display-eng/
mine doesnt show 6 bars for a full tank
Can this be set to MPH? The website doesn't reference this option. Looks interesting.
Yes it can. Simple procedure.
Hi, can you tell me how you got your quad lock mounted like that?

This has worked great for me.
@@adv4me cheers mate!
Does it show a more acurate speed than OEM?
I use gps on the tablet but in order to correct the speed there’s a guy that manufactures ABS rings you can swap out for more accuracy.
Yes, the new display shows the real speed (it use the oem Abs rear wheel)
@@7SOLIDwell that’s something I didn’t know. Thanks for chiming in!
Another value add to this great product. If you consider the cost of the ABS dongles and speedo rings available you’re looking at $250-$280.
I love it, too bad I didn't know about this before Santa Claus came!!
Mine arrived Christmas Eve so I wrapped it and said it was from Santa.
Will this work on the stock dash? Or only rally raid dash?
@@jp5929 my bike is a 21 and this is the stock dash.

Counting grams of weight saving LOL
I’ll bet you have a central stand installed.
No central stand and I don’t give a shit about the weight. It’s everyone else that seams to want to know.
My man ur gps is showing your home, please blur it before you get weirdos around your house
My life isn’t exciting enough to attract weirdos. Maybe I’m the weirdo 😃
