    Conor don't want to turn up to the press conference because he can't say shit to Diaz. He will look like a fool when Diaz responds to everything he says with "i choked ur ass bitch" or "u attend my sunday kids jiu-jitsu class yet?" Conor can not stand been on the side of weakness for once and said 'fuck it i'm out'.

    I gotta be honest this is probably the most I've ever agreed with Dana before

    • @theomega616
      @theomega616 8 лет назад +1

      +Brandon Carter Then you're as dumb as Dana. Conor is a fighter, not a show pony. Fighters train to fight, not tour to talk it up ... you have promo guys for that and if you need the fighters to talk to each other, we have shit like skype! The fighter doesn't need to fly from Iceland to the USA, answer a million questions he has answered before, fly for over an hour to stockton, then fly again to new york (the opposite side of the country) to answer the same questions and then fly back to Iceland
      So this top level athlete, that is making UFC bigger, making it richer, has to lose out on a week or more of training.
      Why does he have to do that when you can set up a video press conference? Mega corporations do that for meetings. Do what DC and Jon Jones do, talk shit over twitter. There are plenty of ways to hype a UFC card without taking a week off training.
      NOT to mention, Conor had this unshakable confidence, built all this hype up, Nate crashed it and this is Conor seeking vengeance at a land mark UFC number! It already has LOADS of hype, then you add on this spectacle leading up to it and it adds more hype.
      How could he possibly hype it more? The only way I can think of, is if he actually says "if I lose I will retire".

    • @theomega616
      @theomega616 8 лет назад

      Brandon Carter Where ever you got that information from, it's wrong. If you think about it, Dana said in this interview that only one other person no showed to an interview and he was pulled from the fight ... it's you show up to the interview and fight OR you don't show up and you don't fight.
      NOTHING to do with bonuses for doing interviews.
      Just 'cos he can promote fights well doesn't make him a promoter, otherwise he would be called a promoter! Or are you the kind of dumb ass who thinks that just 'cos you have a brain you're a brain surgeon? You piss, so you're a urologist? Have a heart, so you're a cardiologist?
      Fuck sick? You just typing any old words at this point? typing tourettes?

    This is the first time in the UFC that Conor doesn't have the upper hand in the press conferences and that's where he gets most of his confidence from. After his humiliating loss against Diaz he can't say anything, because of that he's asked for a shit ton of money from Dana on purpose knowing that Dana would refuse and therefore Conor would back out of the fight. I've been a fan of McGregor from day 1 but he's pussied out of this fight in a massive way.

    Dana White has a huge, out of control ego. Top fighters are leaving UFC for other organizations because of his arrogance and greed...the Reebok thing is a disaster. Fighters are losing lots of money in sponsors due to this Reebok deal, that seems to be good for the UFC brass but detrimental to the 600 plus fighter/employees. Plus the Reebok fight kits are absolutely grotesque. I hope Dana's greedy arrogant ass loses all his top fighters to Bellator and the UFC goes bankrupt. Would serve him right. Scumbag

      +Iva Hardie Do you see Dana White in the Octagon? There is no UFC without the fighters. Conor has made the UFC rich, he has the power. Conor at this point can go anywhere he wants and will be successful. Don't underestimate the fighters in the UFC worth.
      UFC needs fighters to make money. Conor just doesn't take it up the ass like other fighters do like the ones that make $20,000 a fight.

    • @jimmyv1753
      @jimmyv1753 8 лет назад

      +James Darmody sorry but the UFC was already rich... Had been for a long time. I'm all about these fighters making the money they are worth and it's a lot more than 20-20. I don't think any fighter you see on UFC on TV be it PVP or fox should make a penny less than 100k EVER but Conner has bought into his own hype coming off a loss where he looked BAD fighting a guy with NO camp like he always does shouldn't have any pull on who he fights next or when or where

    • @Chronix1986
      @Chronix1986 8 лет назад +1

      Jimmy V it's a good thing you don't make the decisions for the UFC. Loss or not McGregor stepped up to the plate and put his money where is mouth was and fought Nate Diaz even though he had absolutely NO REASON to fight him. UFC needs more fighters like him. I bet that was a contributing factor as to why Bones accepted the fight against OSP.
      You saying he looked bad is also nothing but your opinion, he did not look bad at all, he clearly dominated the first round and obviously came out exhausted in the second after throwing nothing but bombs in the first, obviously trying to go for a knock out. He lost, plain and simple to an excellent fighter who he had no obligation to fight. That's what gave him the pull he has today, fighting anyone, anytime, anywhere.
      Rousey lost in dominating fashion and guess what? She has pull. She is guaranteed a title shot when she comes back. Her and Conor are similar in the sense they are willing to fight anybody and never pull out of fights.

    • @rainmechanic
      @rainmechanic 8 лет назад +1

      +Sanju Singh (CONOR WILL KO DANA)
      McGregor's name pulls in the same amount of PPV buys as Mayweather did in his prime.. 1.5M @$60 ... Mayweathers cut was 15 to 18 mil with a cut of the PPV which came out to around 30m per fight. McGregors fighting for peanuts and the bulk of his marketing draw is going into the UFC's coffers. Nike sponsorship alone would pay McGregor 20 million a year for his exclusive rights to market their clothing and footwear.. Watch companies like Rolex or Casio would pay him.. Car companies like Tesla, the guy is a literal human money printing machine and he's losing tens of millions of dollars a year sub contracting his services to a shitbag like Dana White, Reebok, and the UFC.. McGregor and Diaz are both big enough names to sell their own superfight and pay a promoter 10 percent and walk away with 50% of the PPV buys to share between themselves.. You will see successful fighers abandon the UFC and move to the Pro Boxing model of marketing their own fight cards.

    This is totally ridiculous on the ufc's part. lets keep it real, Conor just watched his teammate kill another fighter live in person and ooh btw this is also what he does for a living as well!!! Ya think hes a little emotionally bothered by the whole ordeal??possibly?? come on! it was bad timing but make no mistake about it Conor is a great person for sticking to his guns and not acting like a fake maniac for las vegas week and actually mourning this kids loss in the octagon. Shame on the ufc for not understanding that. Also anyone being 100% honest knows Conor is a hype machine and will deliver moviing forward with media obligations but this clearly should have been an exception. R.I.P. Joao Carvalho.

      +dan theman exactly, i can´t see how Conor could win a second fight, unless he choose to take a different approach and be humble instead and try to make Diaz soft and surprise him. Conor could be a spectacular fighter if he wasn´t such a bullie, it was just a matter of time until he said the wrong thing to the wrong person who makes it personal and actually wants to kill him.

    Conor IS the promotion of his own fight, as long as you have him on the UFC200 poster, every dollar of the 10mil they spent for the entire card will be recovered. Conor pulls in 100mil per fight, the UFC should have flown a fukn film crew to Conor's gym to get what they need, this is bad biz on there part.

    This is Conner's way out of a fight he knows he's going to lose. He doesn't have the tools or the right style to beat Nate, especially not on a full camp. A second loss would expose Conner and crash his stock. Conner will be back to fight again, he knows it will be just as a big pay check for him to come out of retirement.

    he did another press tour with Aldo for 194. He did another one with RDA for 197 (while 197 was 196), RDA pulled. Then, he did another one with Diaz for 196.
    Five Press tours in three fights, in less than 11 months.

    The obvious question to ask Dana is "Why did Conor pull out from promoting the fight?"
    I don't think he has a injury, or even a bruised rib. Why did he pull out of the promotion?
    We get the straightest answers from Dana White, but it seems this most interesting question was avoided, and you can see the same thing in all media---if you "think" about it.

      ***** Right. He wasn't gonna fly because he's 20 hours away. And I didn't mean to imply "if you had the balls to say it to their face" which I'd bet you don't, I'm saying you're busting McGregor's balls more so because its' the trendy cool thing to do right now.
      It's fun to hate

    • @0P9ine
      @0P9ine 8 лет назад

      David Powers He signed the contract or agreed to the terms of the fight and that includes promotion. I dont care if youre planets away you make your way to wherever youre schedule to be as part of promotion and no one is an exception to that rule.
      Its easy for fanboys to have this victimhood of ''everybody hates my favourite fighter, whatever they say is invalid''.
      I'll say it to any current UFC fighter right fucking now and ill make sure its in public space and theres someone with a camera. Theyre not animals who are hungry to fight anything, they'll just brush it off and move on like it aint no big deal. Why would they risk their license and pay cheque cause some random had something smart to say?

    • @PowersBenzoCoaching
      @PowersBenzoCoaching 8 лет назад

      Fair enough. So you fine him for not showing up. You don't pull him from the card. Everyone suffers, from the fighters, the UFC and the fans. It's an egotistical power-play move to pull him, just like it was to pull Diaz when he missed the presser.
