The trial against rapper Young Thug, real name Jeffrey Williams, is crawling along in Atlanta. In addition to delays and early dismissals, the court is also having to deal with bickering between attorneys, witnesses who refuse to talk, and never ending motions. I know they'd have to pay me, or give me some sort of compensation. No way I go to work, get off, and then do this bs all day. I would literally just sabotage the trial by not budging from my vote. I'd vote innocent and just say fk it and let them have a mistrial lmao. And this bs with the judge just getting to deny motions, and there being no checks and balances, is fkn bs. I hate our justice system.

I feel so sorry for this judge. Having to deal with the prosecutor, who is just annoying, and has to deal with 5 defense lawyers. He must wish he was on vacation when this trial came up.

@@lovinglife419no that’s the clips. They all have to have an attorney and the state insisted on them being tried like this. The DA has a weak case, terrible witnesses, isn’t disclosing evidence in a timely manner or at all sometimes. The judge is biased towards the DA and sustains almost all objections even when they are obviously invalid. They impeached their own witnesses and had 3 separate gang experts with no clear purpose. They propose approx 300 witnesses. Despite impeaching several of their own witnesses. The DA’s investigator sexually harassed the witness who had just lost her mother. The defence actually have to object to issues like this or can’t cite it later for appeal.

Legit question here… as a part of the jury, I mean, what about their jobs? Honestly, of you have a job, do you just quit? If this last as long as even 4 months, you would loss your job no?
No. Your job has to continue to pay you. And you get a small check from the court everyday you’re there. It’s only like $50. But your job still has to pay you and they cannot fire you for being on jury duty. That is a federal crime if they do.

Day 61- and I still haven’t identified how Mr. Williams is apart of this R.I.C.O. This trial has been a spectacle, this DA’s Office is horrible. The witness today should have never been asked to come in. He as well as the young lady from last week are owed an apology from the D.A.’s office. At this point they are attempting to humiliate their own witnesses who aren’t responding the way they wish. Mrs. Love is highly disrespectful. The judge is biased. The jury has been exposed. The “witness” today, thought he was coming to court to get Justice for what has been done to him, only to hear that the person responsible took a plea and served a few years. Also the man took a plea on this “RICO” and went home. There is so many other things but today really bothered me.

Remember this is the same prosecution office Mrs Fannie Willis's office she is about to lose her job. Apparently she was hiring people that was not qualified to be in the courtroom. I think the root of the problem here is the prosecution office is not prepared for this case.

You have to show a judge respect in his courtroom but that doesn't mean you don't have the right, again respectfully, to ask that the judge show you respect....many judges have been removed by their own peers at the appeals court level for treating their courtroom like their own kingdom by unnecessarily demeaning attorneys who are themselves officers of the court and those that they represent.

The one thing I like that the judge says is that once the defendant envokes his right to council, the questioning is supposed to stop. Obviously you have the right to remain silent.
Now I'm not backing these defendants nor their actions, but I can't tell you how many of these interviews I've seen where questioning continues after a suspect has envoked his right. It's unreal.
