- Ingredients:
2 / 3tbs of Oil
2 Sliced Large onions
Half a tsp of Turmeric
Whole Breyani mix
3 Green chillies
Fresh thyme
Fresh curry leaf
Dhania
Mint
___________________________
Marinade:
1kg of Lamb
3 Quarters of a cup of Sour milk
1 tsp of heaped Roasted Coriander/Dhania powder
1 tsp of heaped Cumin/Jeera powder
Half a tsp of Somph powder
1 tsp of Garam masala
1 tsp of heaped Turmeric
1 tsp of heaped Breyani mix
4 tbs of Masala
2 tbs of Chilli powder
Salt
1 tsp of heaped Ginger & garlic
Rice:
3 Cups of Basmathi rice
1 Stick of Cinnamon
Half a tsp of Turmeric
Salt
2 or 3 Cadimon pods
1 tsp of egg yellow
2 tbs of Melted butter
___________________________
Potatoes:
1 Quarter tsp of Turmeric
Salt
1 tsp of heaped Butter
Lentils:
250g of Black Lentils
1 Stick of Cinnamon
1 Quarter tsp of Turmeric
Salt
Fresh mint

Solina I cooked the briyani but a big pot to feed family due to covid etc, but I marinated meat last night, but I had such a hard time figuring out the measurements, but eventually I did, so this morning at 7am I started with no help, but end results were perfect, I only defaulted with salt, pot was cleaned no one wasted and I had some to taste, I think this is really perfect, no sticking to the pot not too dry or too wet, meat was soft, potatoes were extremely soft and didn't break, I am so impressed,

I think I'm going to add dhall to give it some texture so my kids would enjoy it more,the 4 year old didn't really take to it.
Yes it might be too strong if they are having it concentrated. The dhal will also thicken it slightly. You can add a pinch of asafoetida too.

I will definitely be doing it soon. If you want, please check out my sugar beans & potato curry that’s uploaded under the vegetarian category. It’s very similar. When your broad beans is almost ready then add to the curry base to cook further so it doesn’t get too soft or mushy. Let me know if you need any help. 🥰😘
