TESLA is a great band with great songs. These two are good, solid songs. But they have a lot of much better ones in their catalog. Please do more of them.

Thankfully, Tesla is an 80's rock band that still has a huge fanbase and still charts w/ new albums and tours successfully... Cali rockers had more in common w/ Aerosmith and Thin Lizzy than so-called 'hair metal' bands like Ratt and Motley Crue... Tesla's Frank Hannon (lead guitar) is such a huge talent as a musician, it's criminal how little he's recognized.
The Tesla band was: Jeff Keith (vocals), Frank Hannon (lead guitar), Tommy Skeoch (guitar), Brian Wheat (bass) and Troy Lucketta (drums).
Tesla debuted in 1986 w/ the album 'Mechanical resonance'... a record that eventually sold platinum (1 million copies) w/ hits like 'Little Suzi' and 'Modern day cowboy'... 2nd album 'The great radio controversy' in 1989 was a double platinum hit and scored a huge ballad single 'Love song'... as well as faves like "Heaven's trail (No way out)"... 'The way it is'... 'Hang tough'... 🔥🔥🤘🤘
In 1990, Tesla recorded a live acoustic set that would start the 'MTV Unplugged' trend in the 90's... their cover of 'Signs' was another major hit single. They also covered CCR's 'Lodi' and The Beatles' 'We can work it out' in the show, w/ their songs.
The 90's were starting to trend away from 80's rock, but Tesla's album 'Psychotic supper' in 1991 became another platinum success, w/ 'Song & emotion'... "Edison's medicine"... 'What you give'... becoming Tesla classics... However, internal issues resulted in guitarist Tommy Skeoch being fired for drug problems as the band released their 1994 album 'Bust a nut'... (which "Need your lovin' " comes from)... "Mama's fool" was another single, and the album sold gold (half million copies), but Tesla were exhausted and split up in 1995 after their greatest hits album "Times's makin' changes"
Thankfully, the band reunited the original Tesla line-up by 2001 and began touring again, releasing the album 'Into the now' in 2004... Unfortunately, addiction issues forced guitarist Tommy Skeoch out of the band again by 2005... Dave Rude (guitar) replaced him and Tesla has continued to record and tour til today.

Tesla is a great band that didn't get enough recognition. These are good Tesla songs. I'd recommend these two.

calling California cali is lazy talk and its a southern California lingo not nourthern California talk or lingo. But you can call California the Golden State
