In this video, I get to take the keys of this 2006 Corvette C6 Z06 Heads / Cam car. It's an LS7 575 Wheel Horsepower WHP with the McLeod Clutch. This was the first time I was driving a cammed car, let alone a Corvette. I'm a Corvette guy at heart and owned a C3 1978 Corvette and a C5 1997 Corvette so this is my first C6 drive. Thank you, Jake for the opportunity! I also give Jake his first supercar experience! I gave him the keys to the 2017 Acura NSX so that he could experience on the back roads in Pennsylvania. I hope he enjoyed it.

i dont like the corvette c8 the design is off in some parts of the car i much prefer the c7 with a wheels i saw that much fit the car i think are the zo6 wheel not in black but silver wheels with black paint

I love my 2007 Corvette Z06. I could’ve bought a lot more expensive newer vehicle but after I drove it. I just loved the V-8 sound and the analog feel to the car and of course it’s an absolute beast as well. I wouldn’t trade it for anything right now.
Same!!! I have nicer, flashier, and faster cars, but the Z06 gets way more use... It's just such a fun experience driving it! About the only thing that has me interested right now is the C8Z. While I know I would love that car too, I think I'd still prefer the rough, raw, and analog feel on the C6Z! Epic cars IMO!

the nice thing of this video is to see the perspective of each car what each one thinks about their car vs the other (if i drove the same car everyday u can u could get bored then try another car the experience is going to be new fresh again)

dang what a great explanation of why the corvette is more controllable compared to the nsx. i always thought it was only cause the tires were so wide
the place where you sit in the nsx is the best place you can be to feel save! So in reality it was a bad explanation.

They say that growth happens at the end of your comfort zone. Normally, I wouldn't have stayed in the throttle but I wanted Jake to experience true growth. 😂 I think I need a front engine, rear wheel car again in my life. Mid-engine is nice but being able to shred tires, break drivelines and annoy people seems to be the way to success on RUclips. Get ready with the bail money.

Ah, reading your "need a front engine in your life again" warms my heart. I knew you are a very old soul. In a previous life I think you were one of the very early Indy Car drivers, then later on late you had another life as a "Wheel Man" for one of the Crime Syndicates. Put those two live together and you're a regular Outlaw behind the wheel and on the tube! If you're going to be a bear, well be a Grizzly! If you can't drive around and scare women and children, what's the point of driving!?🤔 I know a good defense attorney. You'll be fine. Corvettes are nice… but idk if it’s nice enough to fight depreciation. C5’s are my favorite by far.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. The car has WCCH Stage 2, Widow R Cam, Fast Intake, Plus full exhaust. Around 600whp and it does everything perfectly.
@@padriven what tires do you have on the rear? im at 620rwhp on my HCI setup and i want to sell my nitto drag radials cause they wear down extremely fast.
In PA a 15 year old car is classic. Everywhere else is 25
I'd take the Z06 over the NSX any day. Manual transmission and it weighs almost 800 lbs less. The LS7 has a lot more potential as well.

LOL! This dang car was set up to redline and pop the clutch for the lowest ET's at the track. The owner modified the clutch the following day to make it more drivable on the street and offered to let me re-shoot the video.
@@PatsGarageOnline I am just busting your balls man haha. You did fine. A lot of people do not realize how hard it is to drive a car with a massive cam in it. My father in law drove stick for years, got in my vette and stalled out 4 or 5 times
As you know a dual clutch is so superior to a manual performance wise. The owner of the vette has absolutely destroyed the drivability of that car. Not a cruiser for sure.
C6 z06 prices will be going up soon. Unique car. Stick gear box, high revving v8, incredible exhaust note, light weight, beautiful design. No regrets and yes I own one.

Gotta stage 3 cam in my 06 z06 and drive ability is great. I can let out on the clutch without pressing the gas and it'll take off great. I love it!!!

Great Video! Honest review. The c6z is so organic and always puts a smile. Wouldn’t mind having that Nsx. But I need a Ls7 in my life.
