  • This knitting tutorial demonstrates how to knit C2F (1/1 Left Cross) and C2B (1/1 Right Cross) cables, which are created by passing one stitch over another. The result is a dainty cable that's only one stitch wide.
There are a few methods to create these cables without having to use a cable needle every time, and people prefer to use these methods for small cables because they're quicker and more efficient.
The technique I'm showing today is the slip stitch method, which basically involves moving the stitches between the needles to reorient them, before then working them by knitting or purling (or both).
