for the 2nd last question, the 'x-1' column, don't all values have to align. Here, only 2 are divisible by 5. Why aren't we considering the rest. Thanks so much, Whitney!! Always look forward to your sessions.
Great questions! You are exactly right that since the question states that 3x+2 must be divisible by 5, every answer that would be "legal" would have to abide by that. So the table was trying every value of x until we found a couple that worked for all constraints - hence the fact that we only finished testing the problem with those two values. We had to throw out any values of x that wouldn’t make 3x + 2 divisible by 5! Hope this helps!
Hi, Joseph! Thanks for your question! Our RUclips videos are meant to supplement whatever program you're using to study-for example, you can search the videos for specific topics or question types to get extra help on areas that are giving you trouble. They can't substitute for a complete study plan. If you're looking for a complete study plan, I'd start by signing up for our Free GMAT Starter Kit on our website ( www.kaptest.com/gmat/free/gmat-practice ). That will give you access to more free study material and also explain how the different comprehensive (and paid) study plans work, including the opportunity for some free trials of some of the programs. (In general, if you want a comprehensive study plan that's actually effective...it's going to cost some money. It takes a huge amount of time and expertise to build an effective learning program. At least it'll be a lot less expensive than business school itself. ☺️)

How does one integrate all these videos into a coherent study plan?
