Good morning! I agree with Robin’s comment. Send it back. If that is what you paid just for a leather binder, you were ripped off. I was in the leather business (family owned) and I know the cost of the leather. I get the to do list. I struggle with the hobonichi being just too much. I love the daily pages but as far as a calendar everything is on my phone. I want to find a journal that I can like just the daily’s and To do lists.
FYI, I am part of the planning community and you are totally fine we all have the same issues; I know people who change the planners every month. I personally am loving the Laurel Denise vertical planner because I can see everything on one spread. I’m also currently using the Sterling Inc. common planner in B6 for a work planner but I never use the monthly or the weekly’s so I think next year I am just gonna go with a stalogy and a laurel Denise for big picture planning. ❤❤
Well thank goodness! I’m glad I didn’t offend and that I’m not alone in my issues. Well…my planning issues. 😂 I’ll check out the Laurel Denise, sounds interesting to me! 🤗
Such a great overview! And if this brand is as good as people say, then I would contact them about the binder. You'll be using it everyday, see it everyday, and be *annoyed* everyday.
I would definitely let PLOTTER USA know about the bent spine. Mine don’t look like that. I have the same ongoing issue with my main calendar being on my phone and laptop but late last year I tried the A5 and liked it but eventually settled on the Bible size. I try not be be so religious with my Plotter planning but I do prefer the rings over bound or TN journal styles. The mini 5 is dope too. I’ve found a few A5 and Bible (personal size) plastic insert/ holders that don’t have the “thong” problem lol.
I have three plotters and I questioned the spine but I “polled” a group of owners and they’re all that way. The spine bar is always slightly bent, that’s normal.
Thanks for letting me know your experience. I asked a few people too and got mixed answers. I think it depends on the size. I guess I’ll attribute it go “hand made”. 🤓❤️
As usual, I'm with you on many points. I've tried so many different planners - different price points - and finally settled on the Hobonichi Cousin. I like it but like you, there are portions I never EVER use. I've had to learn to be ok with it or use those parts as impromptu ink testing pages - I dunno! 🤷🏻♀️ I'm a PM so damned near everything I do is digital. For the most part, I use my Cousin for daily To Do Lists - even if it's the shit I need to digitize later.😂 Re the Plotter: there are some cool aspects but $245?!!?😟
Hiya CB BL; check out fountain pen revolution. They actually have good inexpensive flex nibs (their ultra flex is close to vintage flex), so you get your feet under you and learn how to use them, if you spring one, you can easily replace the nib. That's just my two cents. Let me know what you end up trying.
That bend is not normal! I have two plotters (an A5 and a mini) and neither of them have a bend like that. I know the return policy on the Plotter USA site is not the best but I think you should totally contact the company. Also, if you think you might purchase more from Plotter, there is a retailer in Chicago (Atlas Stationers) that carries the brand. If you are in the US they will ship and their return policy is much better than Plotter USA. HTH:)
For that price I would send it back.
Definitely contact them about the crease. I think they will make it right. I have the bible and mini 5 and love them.

Literally was not even going to watch this because I don't use a planner but your plotting thumbnail was hilarious 😆

LOL the "thong" problem. OMG. That just made my day! HAAAAAH.

Hello Newsha! What fountain pen with a flex nib would you recommend that isn't expensive? Thank you in advance!

@@ferociousnprettypens Thank you so much, Newsha!
Did you return it?
No, I kept it. I heard from a few people that it's kind of normal...I still have my doubts. :D
Love the evil plotting thumbnail!

I would be livid about the defective binder - and then, there is the cost of it. Send it back and make them pay postage both ways.
That is faulty! For the price you need to return it! Poor quality! 😮
