Thanks Tim for your incredibly useful review. I like how you talk about the different types of paper with passion, love and a great understanding of the papers’ different qualities.
Thanks for the review. I had to watch it twice. The first time I concentrated on unsuccessfully cleaning away from my screen the stain that appears on the wall top right from your head 🙂
Tim I want to order some papers on your site but can't see where to sign up for the newsletter. I'd like to get any discount I can because I'm looking at several test packs! Thank you.
Very interesting test indeed ! I heard that Hahnemeuhle papers are very fragile and more prone to scratches compared to other brands like Canson. Can you please give your opinion on this topic ?
What is it with people wanting to touch photos?! Can anyone explain to me what the F is going on with that?! Aren't art pieces meant to be hang without touching them?! Why the hell would the FEEL of the paper matter in a print?! I'm new to printing so I want to understand this, I don't see that logical. Also why some people compare papers using different pictures instead of using the freaking same picture to spot the differences?!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!!

A fascinating look into a range of papers that I must get around to trying myself! :-)
Go for it!

haha I wiped my screen too thinking it was on it!
Useful review as always. Looking forward to the printing workshop next month
Glad you enjoyed it! so are we.
Your videos are wonderfully instructive and useful. Really helps me get the best results from my little black box (the Epson P700)!
Love the rice paper. I use Awagami papers which have a similar feel to some of them. Thanks for the insight.
Thanks for the test, for learning purpose and your opinion is appreciated👍
Thanks for watching!
Some thoughts about photo paper and which type of photo paper withstands light best without fading so quickly. I use an Epson 8550 printer

Hi Oliver, this is not something we have noticed.

Don’t most of those papers contain OBA’s?
