I was thought you were talking about the un-skippable ads at first 😅 then I realized your comment came from the before times.
      I write from late 2022.
The first salvos of the Ad wars have begun. At first it was and ad here, another there. Then a skippable ad. Oh they were just getting started. Ads, skippable after 5 seconds each started appearing at the start of every single video, then again 30 seconds in and every 30 seconds after that. Now the ads have become unskippable, and THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!!
A warrior called Premium has arrived, claiming to alleviate us of this accursed state, but everyone ignores him cause he is a total jerk and Noone will ever listen to him. Ever. Premium will never be a solution.

At around 20 minutes, this song turns into a different version of Blue Monday. Love it.

The whole song sounds like a precursor to Blue Monday. Everything found in this track is what ended up as Blue Monday.

Reminds me of Underworld's early 90's sprawling progressive-house instrumentals. Also, sounds closer to the more industrial Peel Session version of 5-8-6. 👍

An interesting track that bears little resemblance to the original 5-8-6. The drum track is comparable to the "Clap Track" on Stars on 45. The bass sounds like it's been played on an elastic band, recorded on poor equiptment and played back through a damp speaker. If it didn't say New Order on the cover you'd never know.

Can't recall the specific details but is something to do with the structure of the song 5 bars, 8 bars, 6 bars or something like that.

Something to do with the song "Ecstasy" off of Power, Corruption and Lies I think

Soulful Anathema is correct, it’s the chord progression of Ecstasy off of P,C, & L

Funny how one can feel so differently about the same thing! When this came out it was played in the best club and it was a rush on the dance floor...a blast!
