- Hi everyone, thanks for listening.
This is my work on my favorite album Equinoxe, I hope you'll enjoy it.
Covers are Equinoxe 1, Equinoxe 2 , Equinoxe 3 and Equinoxe 4
There will be certainly note issue, EQ issue ....anyway, this is my gift for the community for Xmas :)

This is the best part of JMJ's music. Good job, it sounds very well.
the only problem with jmj's music ... I hate when they talk to me and I'm hypnotized with my eyes closed listening and thinking, I mean, it was made to be calm .. what a wonderful feeling of peace

Jarre es uno de los mayores genios musicales que ha existido.Que maravilla.
An excellent rendition of the first, dark side of Equinoxe. The glissandi in part 1 are not as smooth as in the original but the tone of the melody seems brighter and more evocative of a sunny dawn. As the track chills to the icy part 2 I found the slowed-down 'pneumatic-drill' effects particularly captivating, as is the break of waves washing in the next part. The twilit atmosphere of part 3 keeps much to the original though I found the glittery effect better defined. I'm not sure what happened at 11:59 with the sudden A in the bass but the blackout to part 4 masterfully done. The pneumatic drilling sound effects are hauntingly applied and actually better than the original. I would say the bass at 17:30 needs to be dampened. Overall, though, it's brilliant, capturing not only the notes and sounds but the spirit of JMJ. Well done and thank you!

Juste énorme.... J ai grandi avec équinoxe en intraveineuse... Et je dois dire que ton travail est extrêmement bluffant !!! Équinoxe 2 avec les decresendo de synthi aks sont super bien faits... Et l ambiance est grave la !!!! Bravissimo ! 😀 😀 😀

Comment peut-on réussir à faire une réplique aussi juste de ces 4 phénoménaux morceaux d'Équinoxe. Juste sublimement bien fait. Rien est oublié jusqu'au moindre petits sons, les voix en arrière sont même étonnamment justes. Juste un travail exceptionnel. Dommage que la suite n'est jamais vu le jour. J'aurai aimé entendre la partie 5, 6, 7 et 8. Peut être qu'un jour ce sera chose faite... J'espère et on l'espère tous vraiment... Aller !!! Fais les morceaux 5, 6, 7 et 8 stp 😊

Je crois que j'ai jamais entendu quelque chose d'aussi bien reproduit de ma vie. C'est sublime, excellent, super bien fait. Dommage qu'il n'y ai pas la suite ou d'autre albums de Jean Michel JARRE de refait. J'aurai bien vu OXYGENE et LES CHANTS MAGNETIQUES de refait moi...
Et le 3 et 4 sont mortels... Garde tes oreilles au chaud. Elles sont précieuses !! 😀
This is absolutely amazing! I do and can really admire and appreciate the perfectionism and attention to detail you put in your work. I listened to tons of Jarre covers on youtube, and I can easily say that yours is definitely one of the best. I did an oxygene 4 cover myself, just for the entertainment, spent hours an hours trying to find the best sweet spots replicating the sounds, tweaking and tweaking. I know very well the delusional state of mind which makes you say "gotcha! I nailed it!" until checking the original record. :))
IMHO Jarre's sound is defined by randomness and subtleties, and one of the best examples is the second lead on oxygene 4. The RMI Harmonic lead. And funny is, even Jarre himself couldn't replicate it perfectly, (listen to Oxygene In Iour Living Room) with the original equipment on hand. In fact the effect is a combination of EHX Electric Mistress Flanger on the lead and on the eminent strings layer. The modulation waveform's cycle must match with the original recording to obtain something close enough. And my version is also far from being perfect.

Don't forget that Jarre himse;lf would never be able to exactly replicate his own music from this era. Indeed a lot of it depends on randomness, especially the small stone phaser. Getting close is already a big achievement!
Jarre did a new master recording of Oxygene though a few years ago and it sounds the same
WOAH. Unbelievably impressive, I almost thought this was just the original album for a moment in the beginning. Have you uploaded this anywhere besides RUclips? I'd love to hear it without the compression and transcoding. Something like a 320 kbps mp3 would be great. THIS IS AMAZING

Absolutely astonishing attention to detail! It's my all-time favourite album, so I'm its harshest critic when it comes to covers. There have been some superb covers of part 7 but nothing like this for 1-4. Extremely impressed. Could you share some more info on the VST instruments used please?

A quand la suite de l'album ? Pourquoi s'être arrête à la partie 4 de l'album ? Faudrai faire les 5, 6, 7 et 8.
Bonjour ! Et bien pour plusieurs raisons. La première était le temps car je m'étais fixé un objectif pour publier ces covers. La deuxième, je n'étais pas satisfait des mes tentatives sur equinoxe 5, et j'avais surtout trouvé quelqu'un qui en avait fait une replica cover magnifique, au delà de ce que j'aurais pu réussir à faire je pense. Mais qui sait, peut être un jour ! En tout cas merci pour le compliment!
@@mrbeelooo D'accord merci. En tous cas, c'est un travail magnifique. Les petits sons sont placés vraiment aux bons endroit pile poil au bon moments, rien est oublié tout y ai même ce qu'on pourrai pensé être zappable. C'est un travail magnifique. Je l'ai téléchargé et converti en MP3 et je l'ai mis dans mon dossier musique sur mon PC à la suite de l'album orignal Équinoxe. J'ai trouvé ça kiffant. C'est vrai que la suite manque mais bon oui peut être plus tard. J'aurai vraiment bien aimé entendre la suite sur cette version, ça aurait été vibrant, kiffant et ça m'en aurai donné sûrement des frissons. Encore bravo.

@@cedric75018n dans mes cartons j'avais Calypso 3, enregistrement de 2010 fait exclusivement avec reason et le plug-in korg m1 (et quelques effets), et non finis MF4 et Ethnicolor. Mais mon disque dur m'a lâché le mois dernier et je n'ai... Plus rien

Thanks ! The solo sound is nightflight , and the brass sound all long is Yamaha CS5. I do not use score, only my ears ;)

Bravo pour cette performance. Je suis en train d'adapter EQ1 mais je bloque sur les sons cuivrés ( en crescendo et decrescendo vers le milieu du morceau ) que je n'arrive pas à reproduire, quels sont les instruments et vst utilisés pour les produire?.

Thanks ! No i do not work on miss moon. Zoolook album is not easy to cover, due to multiple samples. Zoolookologie is in the pipe, but it will take month and i'm not sure to finish it :)

Let me tell you something: 👉 you play much better that Jean Michel Jarre himself and his team. Why I say this? Because I DOUBT that he could play such accurate and perfect. The sounds are like in the album. And the way to play, I am sure you play 10 times better than JMJ. We all know the disaster of JMJ playing his own songs in concerts... And, let me tell you something: Why don't you compose something, and show the world that JMJ is NOT unique in the universe? You have the ability to play as a synthesizer composer. We need people like you: uncovering the "artists" like JMJ, showing that we can spect to have another(s) like him or even better. And I think you can do it. You are the only who can believe in your self. CONGRATULATIONS. You know, I am a "Jarrist" myself, having listened to Jarre's music since I was 12. Now I am 41. I listen to classical and other styles always looking for quality music. And I recognize quality in music when I listen to it. Thank you for sharing and thank you for showing us that there is hope.
