Jason, I love seeing you rethink something, it's that tiny window into your fantastically creative thoughts on how colors and textures work together. And I especially liked the way you created and rusted those sign holders. Great cinderblock work, too. Thanks for sharing your techniques.
Wow, like the other two videos.....a great example of painting brick.....I was always scared to try it......now, I'm motivated.....gotta try it on my new kit !!!!
Jason, thank you for sharing more great techniques. Both the cinder block look and the signs turned out fantastic. I always look forward to watching your videos when you post, it’s great to see how you think, and adapt on the fly. Really respect that you changed directions on this one when you didn’t like the look, despite all the work you had put into the upper floors the first time. -John
Fantastic how to on some very interesting sign techniques, looks amazing. I could see Jason as a sign painter in an earlier era but he would probably be fired the first day on the job because the brand new sign would look old and faded from weathering before the paint even dried, lol. Cheers Rob
Fantastic work on the signs Jason. Thanks for the tip on google and sizing. I have been adding lighting & interiors to my structures using vintage wallpaper techniques and it is challenging to figure out the sizing so your comments really help. Great Job Bro! 👍
Wonderful work and a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing. You have motivated me so much. Since I have seen your videos I started using chalks and it has improved my modeling so much. Thank you. Greetings from Switzerland, Urs
Jason, thank you for putting so much time into these videos. They have inspired me to be more creative with my builds and to dirty them up a little! I have a question about which paper you use to print the signs. I've tried a few different papers and don't get anywhere near the quality you are getting. Looking forward to the next video.
I love it when you start a build with "I already made changes to it" LOL. Thank you for the sign tutorial portion of the video. Doing signs is something I struggle with (not has bad as windows though) Ha Ha. I was wondering if at some point, you could do a tutorial on different approaches to working with windows? I would like to add that, thanks to your videos, I always try to experiment with different techniques on each build. But lately I been struggling with doing the window portion of my builds, to the point I almost put the kit back on the shelf.
Jason I purchased the ghost signs and wanted to add them to my already weathered/chalk building. Prior to applying the decal shall I remove the weathered section on the brick building so they can stick properly?
I have a quick question as always, the glue you used, I was given a gallon of school glue could I use that 50/50 mix? The new upper part you redid is killer! IMHO it ends up a way better structure. I have been going through you play lists and you did a sign technic I have used on my N scale wood structures and it works just great! This one just went a step further. Your followers really need to go through your play lists!
Hey Will, the school glue will work for this. You may not need to add as much water since school glue is already thin. As always thanks for watching!!!
@@JasonJensenTrains Yes, it has been cold here too. I had to cover my newly planted roses and perennials. Go figure! Maybe we live near one another? SE Kansas for me.
Jason I ment to ask in my first, is Monster Model Works still open? I know that at one time he was stopping production and closing, while he was looking for a buyer.
For drywall installation and repairs... may be called spackle or mud for wallboard, gypsum board, or sheet rock. Depends on the country of origin and the manufacturer.
Nice job Jason. You never disappoint.

Hello Jason. These two houses also look fantastic again. You really are the master when it comes to 1/87 houses. Class and thanks. Greetings Tino

Another great and helpful video. Signs can make or break a building. This really helps. Many thanks.
Thank you so much Allen!!!
Me too. N scale but I think I can do it. Also plastic bldg but I’ll use your technic. Thanks so much Jason. This old dog has learned a lot from you.
Thanks for watching!!!
This structure sure looks perfect the way it is, but you are the graphic artist and I'm less than a amateur. Very nice work.

Thank you!!!

Fantastic work! Lots of great ideas as usual in your videos, that I can't wait to try out.
Thank you so much!!!
Jason, I don't get a chance to add signs very much, but I am going to have to try this. Looks great man!
Thank you so much Michael!!!
Weathered green painted wood, red brickwork, faded 'ghost' signs, iron rust drips....eye candy!

Great video! Can I use this technique on my N scale brick building too?
Thank you so much!!! Yes, you can use this technique in N scale.
The signs look great! What type of adhesive would you use on a plastic kit?
Thank you!!! You can still use white Elmers glue on plastic. Thanks for watching!
Jason

Looks great Jason. Do you have any videos in N scale?
Thank you so much!!! No videos working with N scale but all the techniques I show can be applied to any scale.
I wanna see some water poured! And, some scenery glued!
LOL, soon, I promise. Thanks for watching!!!

Good morning! Lisa
Good morning Lisa!!!
Hi Jason. What is that fantastic blues music you play on this video?
I found it in the library of music from RUclips.
Awesome video Jason! How are the Sci Fi dioramas coming along? Have a great day! Lisa
The dioramas are going slow because I need to do some wood working in my garage and it has been very cold. Hopefully next month I can get back to it.
@@JasonJensenTrains Yes, it has been cold here too. I had to cover my newly planted roses and perennials. Go figure! Maybe we live near one another? SE Kansas for me.
I’m in Colorado.
@@JasonJensenTrains Not close enough. I haven't made that trip in about 15 years.
Holy smokes' this was fun
Thanks Ed!!!!
Magnificent. Honestly. 👍 (I don't like the wood structure at all)
Thank you so much Kevin!!!
Jason I ment to ask in my first, is Monster Model Works still open? I know that at one time he was stopping production and closing, while he was looking for a buyer.
He decided not to sell so he is back making product.
@@JasonJensenTrains thanks Jason.
Do they do Z Scale?
You could’ve printed the signs on decal paper and eliminate all the sanding just cut out and apply it just like decals on a model car.
you talk about "joint compound",
what is that? Glue? at 6.14

again you knock in out of the park
Thank you so much!!!
too many adds that distract from the video
