A Gorgeous truck. Gotta love a 2 story Falcon. Always wanted to drive one. I've heard the 4 corner cab air ride could give you fits. 3406B Cat 13 speed and 390 rears dual 150 gal tanks about a 200.inch wheelbase. Pull a 53 ft dropdeck KY moving van/car hauler. Name it the KY Wildcat. Dreams are bigger than pocketbook.
A very sexy, Two Story Edsel. I almost bought one in 1984 , powered by a 8V92 Silver with a 15over . A classic piece of Trucking history. I truly miss the old school days of Trucking.
I thought the 1960s Ford HT cabovers were the Two Story Edsels & the W series were called Two Story Falcons leaving the CLs to be called Cabover Louisvilles.
They were a great looking truck and way way ahead of their time. A shame we couldn’t see the interior that had all the gauges angled at 15:00, one glance and you knew where your vital functions were exactly out in the gauges which by the way, just popped out and popped in a new one nifty nifty truck.
I drove one of these and a 72' cabover Kenworth back in the day, these 9000's had a much nicer ride! If that kittycat has a a 13 spd or better ...Somebody gonna have a sweet truck!
Like Ford said at the time: “We are big in big trucks” as they were also building the Transcontinental (TRANSCONTI) which a lot of them ran from Western Europe & England to the Middle East for many years all of which were Cummins powered with the big beautiful Berliet cab.
Ford is now into “Big Trucks again with the FMAX come of course not available just toys here not any commercial trucks but Russia & China have Ford big trucks.
Next thing you know even a place like Vietnam will have Ford Heavy Trucks but not Ford’s home base of the USA. Ford Louisville’s, cab-over Louisville’s, “C” series were operated by such great fleets as Maislin Transport, Frito Lays, East Texas Motor Freight, St. Johnsbury Trucking, Quinn Freightlines, Pilot, Gateway Transportation, Smith’s Transfer, Standard Trucking, Central Motor Lines, Ryder Truck Lines, Centralia Cartage, Huber & Huber, Spector Freight Systems,Crouch Brothers, Holmes Transportation, Hemingway Transport, Roadway Express, Yellow Freight System,New England Motor Freight, Central Freight Lines, Carolina Freight Carriers Corporation, Consolidated Freightways, Conway, H P Welch, Montgomery Wards, & Sears & Roebuck to name just a few carriers that purchased large numbers of Ford’s Big Trucks.
The first time I took a curve at 55 I had to check my drawers . Very scary feeling , and the company I worked for had put duel gas shocks on all 4 corners .
Don’t know what the price is, but it’s got a Cat in it! I’m not a big fan of red but it sure stands out on this truck! 🤩 Where is this thing...I can’t seem to get any current editions of the Truck Book back in Ohio.🥺
angel ismyperttygirl fomharolf I will have a good time in my life and cb you and cb teddy 🧸 you know what time you want to know what you want 😜 to know what the time

Its in nice shape, I drove one of those from 1978 till 82 .
We called it the tilting Hilton , because of the air ride cab.
