Two Story Falcon. That was or is the tallest cab on the road. I dove one, a rental, from Chicago to Cleveland and back a few times. Early 80’s ? The air ride cab takes some getting used to. That baby is a time capsule!
@@TheSteamboat99 Yeah. A bit “leany”. We had a 9000 long nose, 300 hp Cummins 13 speed I loved driving. It was the boss man’s truck. Cheers from Chicago!
Man that's a nice ford CL 9000. She sounds nice and quiet so I believe if you got to go down the windows to hear that Jake. I was looking to buy an old cabover truck but I ran across a very good deal on a Freightliner classic so I jump on it. I wish they would still make trucks like that with the window down on the bottom of the door that would open so I can keep my feet cool with my flip flops on while driving. Cool truck man.
Hola.
I worked for a trucking company part time never had a signed truck There was twenty in the fleet I always took the fuel cap off and checked the fuel level Some times there could be a problem with the fuel gauge not working correctly U just never know with a unfamiliar truck Always do a good check on a unfamiliar truck u just never know
My father had three trucks during the fuel wars and drivers would put sand in your fuel tanks! Having to see my father check for sand in his fuel tanks and in his oil and fluids before he did anything stuck with me!
My favorite semi of all time. Pops had one...thousands of miles with him
Every where you look theirs a new ford pickup or a old ford truck on the Road. Henry Ford would be proud
I'm very invested in vintage trucks because of playing Snowrunner lol
The best truck ever made in the USA!
Looks like ford could of made it almost flat floor. The cab undercarriage is pretty jacked. Love those cl9000
Love the 9000 since I was a kid! Thanks for sharing your rig
I love the sound of that 3406A! Its sounds like no other
Drove this truck with 6v92 for Ames stores it had a coffin sleeper. Winter time was super cold with that big grill.
Great truck , new truck designers should have a look at it and see were they have messed up.
Nice truck
"I don't like Fords, I like Chevys, but this truck is fukin cool" got a laugh out of me, I just discovered these today
that's okay- i DESPISE GM and all things GM.

It's a CLT 9000, the T is for tandem rears, I'm an old FORD truck dealership employee.
Drove Fords my whole life and always favored the cab over. Enjoy videos, CDL is no longer available to me.
If you run historical tags on those old trucks you don't have to have a CDL.
Love the cabover I subscribed
Love that cl 9ooo

Just GIVE'Rrr!!
What’s the difference between the ford cl9000 and the ford clt 9000
How much ? I love that old girl I had the conventional colored maroon and silver and what a ride
Very cool rig! how's the sleeper? does the AC and heat work and such? you mentioned the cab was quiet, that's always nice! good seals I guess!
A lil stretch... Twin straight pipes and Lil bit bigger bumper? Driver that would be a head Turner!
I'm going to do twin smokestacks but I don't like straight pipes. I prefer the sound of the engine, not exhaust.
Anyone know where the power steering reservoir is located on these?
What kind of fuel mileage u get pulling a fifth wheel camper? I have a 38ft and considering buying cabover.
Check the fluids b4 starting?? How about doing an eye check on fuel?
Eye check on fuel?

@@TheSteamboat99 I think he meant take the cap off and look in the tank to see if there's actual fuel in it.
Nice truck is it Alberta Registered

@@TheSteamboat99 it's a great looking truck ran 1 and loved the ride it was a caddie of Cabover
Hey brother when are you going to make another video
Soon, busy as hell at work this summer. Maybe Sunday!
is an motor caterpillar?
3406 Caterpillar!
Finding parts for this must be a nightmare.
It came with 6 big boxes of spare parts when I bought it.
3406 caterpillar
Why does he have a camper on the truck
Its a retired truck. It pulls the holiday trailer super nicely and is way cheaper than a diesel 1 ton.
This man just casually wears tee and shorts on a 20 degrees day. And I think he meant Fahrenheit?
Nope, Celsius. We dont use Farenheight in Canada.
@@TheSteamboat99 Sorry I thought it was USA. Anyways great video! Thanks for replying.
@@krish5445 Canada
20 degrees Celsius is 68 degrees Fahrenheit in almost 70° LOL

Real truckers don't wear flip flops.
