1. REsizing has been stretching my screens instead of doing proper resolution.
2. Mouse is offset. I cant accurately click anything
Thats very convenient if you play different sims or games, but I still think changing iracing settings through ini files is the most redundant solution
Having used the SRWE for a while , (and its been great) This Resize Raccoon is far easier to set up and use , Thank you Dan for posting this , I just wish there was a way to use my RRE without the view going to stretch mode instead of resized mode. If you know a way i can do this , please please post it. Thanks again for all your awesome work :)

@@1976Cordoba Absolutely. Race room has been a pain to use for a while now, Hence the fact i have only been driving ACC, but i miss all the different cars ect. i dont know what they have done in their updates but im sure they need to reverse what ever it is.

Dan how does WRC look stretched without the triple support? Also do you prefer this program to surround and why please?
Hey Dan, when you say it’s stretched fine for WRC, you don’t mean the side screens distortion is corrected, right?! Besides reshade tools, I haven’t come across an app to correct that, when there is no real triple screen support ingame. Maybe you know more?!

it did work for 5 whole minutes on WRC. Then got glitchy, refunded the game. Games should make this a standard option otherwise i just can't be asked anymore.
It does not work. It just rejects everything saying something like: no access to window manager when I click 'test profile'. Also tried Eyefinity but that won't allow me to change the FOV, making it undrivable. Hundreds of euros for a triple screen system and now I wish I was back to my ultrawide lol. ;-)
Is this something you would use as an alternative to using nVidia Surround?
I'm just trying to understand why you might need something like this as I typically have surround set up and turned on at all times. I don't think I've played a game yet that doesn't work with nVidia Surround except maybe Richard Burns Rally?
Some users who have more thn 120hz triple monitor setups had issiue with surround and have to edit CRU settings to get real hz with surround. Its more easier thn Surround and dont have to edit CRU settings for who does not knowledge to how to do. Except that some users have issue when they upgrade nvidia drivers all settings on Surround reset it self even you select custom install and disable Surround Phsyx section. So it does not mean you may have not problem with surround but ppl does. For me I have triple 165 hz for my rig and 42 Lg oled for my single screen games, trust me some times surround fckd up if you use 4 monitor setup.
@BrokenWheelYT Interesting. I just bought some triples, also LG to upgrade my 60hz AOC triples. Hopefully I don't have any issues but good to know there are alternatives.
I can't seem to use this for a 1080p setup and ACC. I try to adjust the values and I can get it full screen, however it keeps flickering back and forth and showing the task bar. This is with the process watcher turned OFF. It does it every few hundred milliseconds. So currently I can't replace SRWE with this.
So why did Windows defender not like Resize Racoon saying it could damage my computer?
I've had pretty annoying issues with Surround myself. The software itself bugs out when you change settings and will lock up for 15 seconds, then it auto shuts off any monitors not in the surround setup. Then when you reactivate the other monitors they are set to a weird resolutions and hz. Certain res or hz options won't change or show up on Nvidia so then you are required to fiddle with Windows settings which also can lock up the Nvidia software. All kind of petty stuff but it gets old quick. Especially so considering every time you update drivers, everything resets and you have to do it again.
If you are using your pc for normal gaming as well: you can't disable the nvidia surround screen in windows setting when they are not in use. IDK about you but my monitors generate quite a bit of heat so not running them when I'm not using them is pretty important.
@stuporsmoothie change the start of your comment too "we all have a bug" 😅 surround has had that issue for 20 years and never fixed. "Nvidia control panel is not responding" so you have too wait for a few seconds and it's so annoying because it's every single time. If you drive iracing using IRSIDEKICK you can even adjust graphics settings without being on track and change settings not even in iracing you would have too look in the ini file and know what your looking for so IRSIDEKICK is amazing.
When your not using the other 2 screens just swith them off with the button what I do
This was the only thing that worked for me outside of Surround and I am very thankful for this amazing software. Only question: is there a list of games it works for? I cannot get it to work with Automobilista 1. I can get surround to work for it but it destroys so many settings I would rather avoid it. Such a shame Nvidia completely ignores this with their own hardware/software.

I dont get it, it strechs the image just like nvidia surround or renders for all 3 screens for games that dont support it? can u set the bezels offset?
Won't work for me. Just keeps putting iracing to left screen screen when I click test profile. Really disappointing as i hate Surround with a passion. Anyone have any suggestions
no need for any tools on iracing ... just edit your renderer.ini file

It's great the community has made apps like this. I'm surprised no one has made a tool to make it so triples can be adjusted for in games like WRC or DR2.0 that don't support triples more than just the stretched image.
Does this solution make any difference on the demand on the gpu compared to surround when in game ?

Can the Raccoon app help me with my dilemma, I have a 32-in in the middle and 2 28-in on each side. I heard there is a way to get it to match up correctly with the middle screen. Almost like it stretches the two outside monitors to a fake 32-in screen. What matters is that it matches in the middle. Can anyone help with that?
Can’t seem to get this to work in LMU… any ideas? It has the main screen way skewed to the right even with proper settings.
Doesn’t work on LMU - use my LMU guide, it’s easier in that game :)
Good video. But when I try to use Resize Raccoon in ACC, and hit test profile, it just puts the game on the left screen.
I use 4 monitors.

Did you try playing with the offset? Default one is made for the center monitor to be the main one

Nice, SRWE was a bit too hardcore :) Dan, does VRR (G-sync) works without problems with this type of stretching on all 3 screens? Because with initial iRacing approach (configs edit) - the VRR was either not working at all or working only on the center screen. Thanks in advance.
@justkru You can have VRR without any addons, just tick the box that opens a new window for each monitor instead of a single stretched window.
1 window can't do VRR on multiple monitors, but 1 window per monitor can.

Has anyone used resize raccoon on Assetto Corsa? Mine works perfectly fine on ACC but nothing is displayed on AC.
AC has full triple support out of the box in content manager. no need for this.

Could someone tell me how to connect three 4k 144hz monitors at the same time to a 4090? On RUclips there are many videos where they show setups with 4k triples at 144hz, so there must be some way to do it, but no one says how to connect them. There is a limitation on the 4090 and only two monitors can be activated with DSC at a time. I'm trying triple 4k for simracing, but I'm about to give up.
I have got 4090 zotac and tripple Asus rog pg27uqr.
Does the 4090 ROG strix allow these 3 monitors to be connected?

resize racoon is such a nice little tool to improve ones experience with the games one loves. I used to just stretch it manually as that's what Lando Norris used to do and it worked fine without messing with the iracing text files, but it always left a border on the top and bottom. This tool fixes that completely and now I can run full tripples with no borders or anything that's not the game at ease.

Ive installed the software because I was having issues playing ac and acc . Every time the game loads up it turns of both side monitors and goes to single screen. Does anyone know why this is happening ? It’s fine on other games . I tried reinstalling acc but no luck
What would be the reason not to use surround? It is annoying how surround always resets on restart, but does it do anything with fov and monitor angle?
For me it was two things, one was how managing window sizes by snapping becomes more difficult when in surround and not being able to adjust the brightness of all three displays when in surround via software (known issue for years).
If you stream without using a capture card you can only choose either all triples or the application which will appear the same as an ultra ultra wide. Using srwe or racoon allows you to run triples but be able to capture the middle screen by itself.

Im at wits end. Ive tried this, ive tried the other program, ive tried everything I can find on reddit and the best I can do is the iracing UI will launch into triples but the game sim goes right back to one screen... I am so done.

You missed an important detail, it also works for people that only have 2 screens, the setup will be identically as triple screens, if you share like in discord it will show the triple screen but you only see it in 2 screens (at least you can see one of the sides)

Is there an option to auto align windows like SWRE? i use different size of monitors so that option was useful for me, i didn't see it in the Resize Racoon.

I have an1440p oled 34” uw middle and 2 x 27” 1440 sides.
The middle looks amazing. The sides look like 800x600 resolution.
Using 3 x 3440 also does the same thing.
Am I cursed to have to sell my oled UW for 3 x32” or something?
Try editing your ini file as if you were running 3 3440x1440 monitors. Just do the value math as if you had 3 of those and see if it fixes it. Thats what I had to do for mine and now looks great.
I use AMD and there‘s an option to launch games in eyefinity (= surround) mode automatically and goes back to normal mode when leaving. Isn’t there such a feature on the NVIDIA driver?
No there is not, as a Nvidia user I can say I have no option like that. its cool to have it.

no - but some people don't like it or can't use it (for example for streaming I need to clone my center monitor to the capture card which will not work with surround).

Hi @DanSuzukiDe... G-Sync doesn't work. The same thing happens to me if I try to use window mode in Windows... G-Sync only works on my central monitor, not on the sides. I thought this could be the solution, but it's the same, I only have frame synchronization on the central monitor... do you know of any solution?
Nvidia Surround is the only option that works for me for G-Sync on all 3 monitors.
I’ve never checked if g sync works on the side monitors - it’s only in my peripheral vision anyways - at least I never noticed it if it didn’t work 😅
@@DanSuzuki I notice it... unfortunately xd... the side monitors are where the speed is noticeable. I changed the monitors to better ones, although they are not native G-Sync, I would like to try that option but in Chile we do not have much of a supply of monitors. I also changed the PC recently and the same problem continues.

How about switching between Triples and VR? I run into problems with screen setups all the time that VR is sooo frustrating to get working and I just let it collect dust.

This is cool, but any way to mimic bezel hiding? It would be cool to take it from 7680x1440 to 7780x1440 with the 100 pixels "hidden" like Surround can do (or bezel hiding does in iRacing, etc.). Haven't found a way to do that yet for other applications unless it has it natively.

@BjoernNawrath yeh don't bother with eyefinity. Make sure you totally disable it first. Then set up resize racoon.
Ive been using SRWE for ages now, but do you experience better performance with this program compared to SRWE? For example sometimes when i use SRWE i experience some fps drops, mostly on ACC. It might just be my pc but every small performance gain helps
no all those apps have no impact on performance - they just change the window size :)

no, got nothing to do with OBS. it's a 2 PC setup thing, there are several options and the one I chose doesn't allow surround@@richdudecamaro

I just tried this with RRE and it just seems to stretch the view rather than resize, RRE is a pain for this as it wouldnt work with SRWE either

Nothing. Some people can't use it (me for example because of Capture Card setup) and some people hate it.

You have to use three monitors with same size (resolution). A combination like 27“ 34“ 27“ is not possible with Nvidia surround.
@@DanSuzuki There are if you use freesync monitors on nvidia card in gsync compatible mode. In Nvidia Surround mode GSync compatible does not work. This is my case and thats why this solution is better.

Windowed Borderless Gaming also works well, can save different profiles, and you dont need to have a purple app with infected raccoons

I’m running surround on acc, iracing and ams2 and everything is working fine without setting up the surround every time I run the game so what’s the benefit of this app?
Nothing, this is for setups without surround as the title also says :P
@@DanSuzuki doesn’t seem to auto switch for me, but it’s pretty simple to select it from the taskbar tool icon and choose the profile and if it’s already selected simple clicking it will apply the window sizing. Anyway seems like resize raccoon may be a better option. Will give it a go.
